About 2 weeks ago, I was contacted by Discover that my account had apparently been breached. Someone had charged over $100.00 worth of stuff to iTunes.
I went into itunes, changed my password, changed to Mastercard, and was able to purchase things for a couple of days. Now I get the message that my id has been disabled.Â
I use some of my apps in my work, and I can't update them. I can't buy music. I can't do ANYTHING. I am disabled and try to do some work from home. I need these apps working. Â

I thought that someone had hacked my itunes account and bought a few apps so I told Apple and they disabled my account. I just found out that it was my Mom who bought the apps in the first place without telling me! How do I get my account to work again?

ITunes keeps giving me the message "account disabled for security reasons". Each time I have to verify the account - any idea why this keeps happening - even changed my password but it still happens - I am the only one using this account - it is happening most with app updates -
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm using iTunes 10.5.3 (3) on Mac OS X 10.7.3 When I drag and drop music from my iTunes library onto the iPad the iPad will first start to 'sync' but I'll notice that it immediately starts to try and sync up all of my music (I have more music than I have space on my iPad so that would just fail eventually but it starts the slow wi-fi sync of all my music). I check the settings for the iPad (via iTunes) and I notice that the Music tab's "sync" option has suddenly been enabled again (when I've previously turned it off).Â
This is very strange and annoying as all I want to do is copy music from iTunes onto my iPad. I can do this no problem with my iPhone (has the same sync settings turned off and that doesn't re-enable the sync setting when I drag and drop music from iTunes to it? The only difference from my iPad is that i have the apps tab 'sync' option turned on - see P.s below for more on that)Â
if I turn off syncing of apps for my iPad I get a message that tells me 22 apps will be deleted and that all data will be lost as well. I'm assuming because some apps I've paid for and some are free I'll be able to re-download them no problem, it's just that some apps have extra settings/configurations on them that I'd rather not lose and I just don't see how turning off the 'sync' option would affect them? Just leave them on the iPad device and stop trying to sync them with iTunes??

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm on my 14th email to iTunes support and after 14 days of not being able to log into my iTunes account, I'm getting a bit desperate. Every time I log in, I'm redirected to the login screen that asks for my account name and password. I've reset my password 4x and Apple has done it twice. Still no change. I'm not getting any response that my password is wrong and I'm allowed to fill in my credentials as many times as I want. It's just redirecting me to the login screen and asking me again. If I log out and back in, it tells me after login that I need to press "ok" to verify my account information, after which it redirects me to... the login screen.Â

I obtained a song Banjo from iTunes. Now I want to remove it permanently from iTunes so it will not sync with my iPad or iPhone. I have removed the item from my Music Library and my iTunes Media on my Mac. Then I synch my iPad and then the song reappears in iTunes. I would like to remove the song from iTunes and the iPad and IPhone PERMANENTLY.

Two songs purchased from iTunes store today. Download looked OK, new purchases do show in Store>Purchased list. I added ratings, and songs went to smart playlist for top rated songs. BUT songs do not appear in Library>Music where all songs are. Search indicates they do not exist. It is from this library I drag to other lists. But without them there I am stumped. Never seen this before.

I don't understand why it takes so long, is this unusual? I have a great connection with my DSL, and I am only downloading one item. There is nothing special about this movie, it is 1 1/2 hr long.

Years ago I purchased a number of songs in my library using a corporate email address that is no longer valid and I do not remember the password. As I have no way to retrieve these songs and autyhorize them it because of the inactive account I cannot play the songs on my new computer without repurchasing them.

How can I tell that a film has English sub-titles or close captioning before I purchase and download it. My wife is deaf and we need sub-titling of some description but the film descriptions do not appear to tell you before downloading.
