OS X :: Unable To Sync ICal With My Google Calendar / Send Publish Email Is Grayed Out
May 19, 2010 am having trouble trying to get my iCal to sync with my Google calendar. I want it so when i make changes to either ical or google calendar it automatically updates the other one. Anyone have any ideas on how to do this?
i had looked at the option to publish my iCal calendar but when i click on calendar in iCal to choose "send publish email" it is greyed out.

May 9, 2012I have Configured my MBA(OS X 10.7.3) mail with the Icloud, Exchange Server, and Gmail. In ICal I have made my Gmail Calender as the Subscription, Exchange Calender, shows as the Separate Calender in Ical. The Gmail Calender entries are Sync with Icloud. But I couldn't Sync the Exchange Server Calender entries from Ical to Icloud. All i need is "Sync my Exchange server calender with Icloud".

Mar 19, 2012Since upgrading to os x v 10.7.3 and moving from mobileme to iCloud as instructed, I am unable to send emails from an Imac connected to an older imac operating on osx 10.4 via wi-fi. Emails form this older box are succesful.
On my newer imac with osxv10.7.3, The email stays in outbox and sent folders with the spinner spinning next to the sent folder.It displays mail activity and outgoing messages...but does not change its staus.I am unable still here 1 hour later waiting for it to go.I have tried instructions from websiteConnection doctor - all green lights

Jun 8, 2012I had an active @mac.com address and made a smooth transition to iCloud some months ago. My iCloud apple identity is my @mac.com address but since Sunday, I cannot send or receive emails with this address, only with my @me.com address. Same for iMac, iPhone and iPad.I have now spent two long phone calls with the apple help number. I then had a fast track on-line conversation with someone today for another hour to have it escalated to a senior advisor. They have tried to sort out the problem unsuccessfully - am sure they will have another go on Monday. In the meanwhile, is there anyone who has had the same problem before? I have tried changing my password on iCloud, deleting and reinstalling my iCloud on my iPhone but nothing has worked.

But I seem only able to sync one way - if I add an appointment in Google Calendar - then sync - it shows up fine in iCal. Apr 7, 2012My iCloud calendar invitations are sent out in German even though my icloud.com account settings say the account is managed in English. What can I do? where is the email generated? within mail? within ical? I'm running an English version of Mac OS X 10.7.3 Lion. Mail is in English. Could this be because the account was originally a mac.com then a mobileme and now an iCloud account. Some sort of legacy information on the account that there just isn't an option to change anymore?!

May 9, 2012My ical is not syncing with my iPhone 4s. I had mobileme and upgraded to iCloud. I also have Mac Lion and feel like I have all the upgrades required, but any time I enter a new event in my iCal, it never transfers to my iPhone. Note: when I enter an event in my phone, it DOES transfer properly to my iCal on my Mac.

May 16, 2012I was looking for an old appointment in iCal and have realised that since I started using iCloud, all my previous events are missing from my Mac. I have tried opening Time Machine but it doesn't seem to want to open iCal.If I untick all the iCloud calendars in iCal leaving only "On My Mac" ticked I end up with no events at all.
