Bit of a strange one to describe this, but I tried to send a message to a lot of recipients and it wouldn't send (I used the wrong server). Now I have an error message that falls off the bottom of the screen and I can't clear it.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an e-mail that I tried to send using Mail 3.6. I accidently selected it to send from an account that has an error with the outgoing mail server. Usually when this happens and the error box pops up I just choose another server. The problem is that the email was going to a whole list of people and the options are lost at the bottom of the screen. I can't access the buttons. I have had this message on my screen now for over a month.

I can receive, but I am unable to send anyone anything....any suggestions? I can send files through yahoo...so I'm not too sure why AIM hates me so much.

this problem has just occurred for two days. before that, this program was working very well.
everything in my msn messenger works fine until I start having a conversation with someone. After I send a message I need to click on the message area every time I want to respond.
It gets pretty frustrating. I was thinking it might have something to do with the safari 4 beta? Just wondering if anybody knows what might be wrong.
I recently set up mail on my new MacBook Pro and for some reason it will not let me send mail it keeps saying that the server will not accept my password but I know my password is correct because I went to the email host homepage and tried it. I am also still receiving mail it just won't send.

I've set up my mail account perfectly down to the last detail in Mail. At first there was no problems. Now it doesnt want to send outgoing mail, why is this? Everything is in perfect order, nothing is changed. I just have to try a gazillion times to hit the "send" button before it works.
View 24 Replies View RelatedI am running a Powerbook with OS 10.5.8 with mail 3.6. For no obvious reason, mail quit sending messages. It receives but does not send. I have reinstalled mail from the installation disc but it didn't resolve the problem. I doubt it was a factor but when the send function quit I was on a very slow dial-up connection. During this time when I was lucky enough to get connected, the connection would drop after a minute or two or it might last for several minutes. This happened repeatedly while I was trying to download received mail and a program.

Have checked, rechecked, deleted, recreated, rebuilt, and did the ancient ritual of the chicken dance, but am always greeted with the Cannot send message using the server smtp.covad.net. Been through all the "resolutions" that I have come across, to no avail. This began two days ago.
I am also unable to send via my iPhone 4 (running iOS 5.1). I can send via the webmail interface for Covad, and the Connection Doctor generates all green.

My Gmail has not been able to send emails for 2 days. All emails have been stucked in the outbox folder. Sometimes i got a message " smtp google server" or something like that.
I do not use a gmail app. It is the envelope icon on the bottom of the ipad that i use to access my emails.

On some days I get the message 'cannot send message using the server mobileme' and 'sending the message content to the server failed'. On other days, mail works fine - (today is not a good mail day). View 1 Replies View RelatedOccasionally when trying to send mail I recieve the 'Cannot Send Message Using the server' message. I click 'connection doctor' and it always confirms that everything is fine. If I then try to send the email again it will send it straight away, but if I try to send another in 10 minutes time, then I'll probably have to go through the same procedure again. I've never been unable to send mail, but having to launch connection doctor most of the time gets tiresome. I've been unable to trouble-shoot as its occurence appears to be random.

some of my friends imessage doesn't work unless they are using wifi. everyone always says hold the message like you are going to copy it then click send as text message but when I hold the message it only says copy and more. how do I get it to send as a text message without shutting my imessage off and without holding the message and clicking send as text message?
