ICloud :: Will It Save Categories So That Have The Same On IPhone

I have very nice, full categories on my iPod touch right now. However, I am getting the iPhone 4S in about a week, and I want to have the same categories on my iPhone as I do on my iPod. I know that I can get all my apps an everything from iCloud. I want to have the same categories on my iPhone as I do on my iPod when I get it so I don't have to spend a lot of time putting the apps in categories again. So I was wondering if iCloud will save my categories too?
This weekend I purchased a new 13" MacBook Pro. In the process of transferring data from my old MacBook Pro to the new one I almost lost all of the data from my iPhone. In the process I realized that by default iTunes only keeps one instance of the backup data - the most recent one.To avoid such a near miss in the future and to add some healthy redundancy into my life, I would like to be able to keep at least one additional backup copy of my iPhone data. Elsewhere it has been suggested to periodically copy the backup folder to another location. This seems terribly inefficient. Is there a more Apple-like way to create and manage multiple backups of my iPhone and iPad data?Â
I am trying to edit the host file to point to saurik's server so I can downgrade my iPhone from 4.0 to 3.1.3 but when I edit it and then try to save it I get an error saying I don't have the permissions go to the file then get info and check the permissions.
I am trying to set up my IPhone and IPad with Icloud. We have an existing Mobile Me account and our home computer is an IMac. When we try to set up Icloud on my phone it asks me to set up a new mobile me account and won't let me put in my existing account.
I'm not clear how do you save a keynote presentation made on MAC to icloud? When it was mobile me, you could drag it to a folder or SYNC from one fo the folders where you stored it.
I recently updated the operating system to Lion and I am trying to save my files on iCloud. It does not work and I can not save any document on I cloud. I am using keynote 09 version 5.1.1.

I have a older G4 running 10.4. All of (nearly) my photos and music are on that computer. I also have a Mac BookPro running 10.7. My phone,laptop and new ipad are on icloud. Is there any way of transferring my data from the old computer to cloud.

I can't get radio streaming from all categories on iTunes. I keep getting the dialogue box that says, "An error occurred while contacting the radio tuning service. Check your Internet connection, or try again later." I've tried rebooting the computer.

I've deleted an unwanted email alias, waited the obligatory 7 days and attempted to create a new alias, which appears to progress until I get the info message 'Cannot save alias at this time'. Â
This is the third attempt over the past week.Â

On my iMac and MacBookPro I cannot save .pages documents to iCloud iWork. They appear on the iWork screen, but I cannot retrieve them.
However, from my iPad it is no problem!. After editing in iPad and save the documents to iCloud back it is possible to download these on my iMac or MacBookPro without problem.
I've got a private law practice for which I use an iCloud account. My message count now puts me close to the 10,000 mark and I'd like to substantially reduce the footprint of my inbox without actually deleting the older messages by saving them locally?Â

my macbook pro is not compatible with lion. I bought an ipad 3 to have cloud capability.. I have not been able to move with just my ipad & iphone. i barrowed a computer is get a cloud account. Do I need to replace my laptop as well?
Understand where I will be able to load pictures on the web (iCloud) so that others can see them in my gallery? With MobileMe we had a gallery. I don't see where that gallery is on iCloud.
Can you save documents to iCloud simply as storage and to access from another PC, iPad or device that isn't your own? I want to access documents remotely but can't see how to do this without buying iWorks for my iPhone, which is not what I want. I previously stored a few important documents on iDisk and am trying to replicate this so I can access them when I am away from my MacBook.
If I don't use Gallery or iDisk, do I have to move anything? All my photos and movies are in either iPhoto or iTunes on my computer.i have also loaded iCloud earlier this year.
