Jul 19, 2009Whats going on? I just copied over everything via migration assisstant on this new install of osx. But my pictures folder was empty - i must have somehow not copied it initially, and now I can't even save to it.
Also, I can't even seem to set an internet picture to my desktop...I click the set to desktop when the mini computer screen and image comes up, but nothing changes.
This is an admin account, i changed read and write permissions to everyone on the my pictures folder.

I tried using "save a version" but that didn't work. I'm not even sure where my textedit file is in the Finder.

I know that I can get all my apps an everything from iCloud. I want to have the same categories on my iPhone as I do on my iPod when I get it so I don't have to spend a lot of time putting the apps in categories again. So I was wondering if iCloud will save my categories too?

Oct 22, 2007I've set up Mail to use Gmail perfectly, except when I send emails from Mail it won't save them in my sent folder, and it hasn't collected my old sent messages either.
I did a search and found a few people with a similar problem but that seemed to be attributed to the fact that they were accessing IMAP accounts. Anyone know what the problem could be with Gmail?
The only instruction I didn't follow in the instructions was that I told Gmail to keep copies of my emails in its inbox rather than archive them.
