I there some form of dynamic keyword that lets you have Aperture replace it with the current file name?Â

I am trying to set up photo streaming. I have set up iCloud, but my systems preferences says MobileMe. How can I change this from MobileMe to iCloud so that I can set up photo streaming in iCloud?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've seen a few threads similar to this, but I haven't been able to find an answer. So, here goes. I have been having ongoing problems with photo stream not syncing all my photos. It's almost as if it has a mind of it's own. A few weeks ago I took three pictures for a friend - two of them appeared on photo stream the last never did. It STILL isn't there. It shows up on my camera roll on my iPhone 4S, but not in the cloud. Today I took EIGHT pics at a park and NOT ONE shows up in photo stream. Below is what I have tried:Â
Turned photo stream off on Mac and then back onÂ
Turned photo stream off on iPhone and back onÂ
Restarted iPhoneÂ
None of these steps have fixed the problem. I thought one of the big selling points of photo stream was that it 'AUTOMATICALLY' syncs all of your pics and pushes them to ALL your devices.  Â
Also should point out - I am aware that photo stream ONLY syncs photos over Wi-Fi - I've been connected to my home wi-fi for about four hours and the pics still aren't syncingÂ

We were huge fans of accessing pictures via Mobile Me and using them as a screensaver on Apple TV.It appears this functionality is disappearing once Mobile Me ends and being replaced with Photo Stream which only shows pictures uploaded in the past 30 days.Is there any other way to view albums created in Aperture as a screensaver on Apple TV?

I used to share albums and slideshows with friends and family using MobileMe. Does iCloud have the same capability or do I need to find another app to share photos?

How can I take my photo stream pictures from icloud on the web and take them to my desktop to download somewhere else?
View 1 Replies View RelatedIn the keynote, at the end of the iPhoto for iPad demo, there was a brief demo of a new iCloud feature that would allow sharing of photos to a web link. I'm confused as to whether this is only in the iOS iPhoto app or, if as stated a new feature of iCloud, should it be a new feature of iPhoto 9 as well? Is this Apple's replacement for MobileMe's iWeb and iPhoto's Gallery?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've noticed that my Photo Stream is not updated after I've made significant edits to my photos in Aperture. If this is not working as intended, is there something I must do to have my Photo Stream updated after I've edited it? If it is just not an implemented feature, would this be something you could implement in the future. I'd rather have my edited pictures show up on my iPad, iPhone, and Apple TV when I'm showing pictures to my friends, than the raw photos that I simply uploaded into Aperture. Â

I have a prime iCloud account that I use to maintain a single address book and calendar. That way my wife and myself can both keep our address book and calendar the same and current. The iCloud account is in my name using my Apple ID and my wife's Mac is logged in to this account. Both of our Macs have a photo asssociated with our log on IDs. As long as my wife's Mac is logged in to iCloud (the desired situation) the log on photo that appears on her Mac is my photo not hers. I can succcessfulyl change it back to hers using the "Users and Groups" from the "Systems Preferences", but in no time at all it gets changed to my photo. I have isloated the problem to iCloud by having her Mac not logged in to my iCloud account and her photo remains unchanged, as I would expect.Â
On her Mac, I have reset the PRAM and executed a safe boot in an attempt to flush any strange data. I have not tried deleting any preferences files as I am not sure which ones to try.Â

I take pictures with my iPhone 4s and they go to my iPad just great but I only get about 50% of them to my MacBook Pro. They are radomly not there. There will be five or six that are there then 5 or 6 that are black no photo. All the warythrough the 200 photos I took on my latest trip? Is there any reason for this random messing up of photos? Is there anyway of getting them on the MacBook short of syncing my iPhone 4s through iPhoto? I am not liking this Photo Stream right now to many missing photos.Â

It was good that Apple added the much needed "Delte" Featuer to Photo Stream. The next issue that came a long for me is: Photo Stream still saves all photos I take into my iPhoto library.
So, even though I choose "Delte" in Photo Stream there is still a copy saved in my iPhoto library.
Usually it creates an event and names it "May '12 Photo Stream" or something similar.
Then I again have to go into this event and delte the photos a second time.Â
Is there a way to disable this feature?Â
I would like to manually add photos from Photo Stream to my library.Â

I wanted to free up space and stop the hundreds of pictures from automatically transferring to my moblie devies, so I thought I'll go ahead and reset photo stream, but I when I try to, I keep getting this error: Â "Could not reset your photo stream."Your photo stream could not be reset at this time due to a server error. I created a smart folder on my MBP so I can see the streamed photos without using iPhoto.
~/Library/Application Support/iLifeAssetManagement/assets/sub is where they are stored.
The criteria is to search for "kind is image" in the sub folder.
I see images that do not exist anymore on my iPad and iPhone. I thought that everything would sync and that images older than 30 days would not appear. Why are these photos collecting on my mac? If I delete them on my iPad, shouldn't they be deleted from my MBP 10.9.4 as well As from my iPhone?

I am having an issue with iPhoto on my MacBook. I used to have lots of photo streams as well as the standard auto upload photo stream, but recently I accidentally turned off photos for iCloud in system preferences. I immediately turned it back on but it was too late, the photo streams where gone! All that appeared when I turned it back on was the standard auto upload photo stream. The other photo streams did not load back in to iPhoto. Besides losing lots of photos (This might not be an issue as I just put them on to another computer) the main annoyance is that the photo streams I created and the ones I had subscribed to had disappeared from iPhoto. The weird thing is that these photo streams still appear on my iPhone!! Is there anything I can do to get the other photo streams back on to iPhoto?Â

I'm not clear how do you save a keynote presentation made on MAC to icloud? When it was mobile me, you could drag it to a folder or SYNC from one fo the folders where you stored it.
