How can I get rid of the the little, blue, snowflake design, icon at the top right of my sent mail? I am using Mac Mail, and running Leopard on a Pro Mac 2x2.66 GHz Dual Core Intel Xeon Computer.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI cannot remove my signature from my outgoing mail. Under the Mail tab, preferences does not send me to a signature option, only mailbox behaviors, etc.I created one about 2 years ago and it is no longer applicable, so I must delete it off every email I send because I cannot find the link to cancel it permanently.

how I delete my photo that is attached to every outgoing email I send?

iCloud is now functioning on my MacBook (OS 10.7 Lion), iPhone, but not the iMac (OS 10.6.8 Snow Leopard). I converted from MobileMe. Incoming mail functions with iCloud on the iMac, but I am not able to connect to Outgoing and therefore unable to send outgoing Mail from this computer. The Mail Connection Doctor in Mail Preferences indicates that I am connected to an outgoing SMTP account in Mail. I manually added smtp.iCloud.com.(name). but to no avail. So therefore two questions that may resolve this issue:
(1) what is the correct smtp address for iCloud?
(2) does the iCloud server support SSL? Please note that I have no idea of what SSL is, but the Mail Connection Doctor advised that I check this out.

The default signature in outgoing messages from iCloud is "sent from iCloud". I can change that on a new email but that will work only once; in the next email the signagture is again "sent from iCloud". Is it possible to create a new default signatute? Is it possible to create this new signature in color?

I didn't change or move anything, the inbox was just empty. I then checked my sent box and all my sent emails were there, checked back 5 minutes later and their gone! The emails in my deleted and junk folders are still there. I checked online through icloud.com and Inbox and sent mail are empty there too, as well as my phone.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am now experisenicng the following error message in Mail on my macbook. I am running Lion and it is updated but my icloud emails won't come in.
the following message appears:
"There may be a problem with the mail server or network. Verify the settings for account “iCloud” or try again.
The server returned the error: Mail was unable to connect to server “p99-imap.mail.me.com” using SSL on port 993. Verify that this server supports SSL and that your account settings are correct."
I have checked the password and all other settings and they are all correct so I dont know why this is now suddenly happening.

I would like to have my emails from my university account pushed to my @me.com / iCloud account. basically, I've been doing that for years with another account but I have to forgotten how to set up a new account. I want to have all emails forwarded from that Office Outlook account.
Does anyone know where to do it? Can I set it up with iCloud or with the Office Outlook account of the university?
Currently, can't delete emails.

Recently upgraded to Yosemite. Multiple times a day, I get the 'ding' that tells me that I have email, and see the little notification appear in the upper right corner of my screen. Then when I go to Mail to check the email... nothing. Not in Junk, Trash, Inbox, or anywhere. A few times I have managed to see who the email was from, and did a search, and it turned up nothing. the messages are not visible in my phone, on iCloud, or on my laptop. I am worried that important messages are disappearing before I can read them. I've rebuilt my mailbox to no avail. If I didn't hear the ding and see the notification appear, I would never even know I was receiving mail. Its not all messages, most get through, but it seems to be happening more and more, I have over 12 gb of storage on iCloud, so that isn't the issue.
