Software :: Can Manually Record Debit And Credit Transactions By Description, Category And Sub-category

I currently use Quicken for Mac 2007 for my budget and finance.fonts are far too small for me to see clearly and cannot be changed. My budget and finance requirements are reasonably straightforward1. Create income and expenditure categories and sub-categories 2. Create 3 accounts (cheque, savings, credit) in which I can manually record debit and credit transactions by description, category and sub-category 3. Create annual budgets with specified amounts each month (not average amounts) for categories and sub-categories
I have movies that i have downloaded, ive converted them into m4v. I've tried to move these to a new folder called music video. when I do this itunes freezes then errors so I have to force quit. When I restart it sorta looks like the video is still there but a generic picture is there and the video wont play, its like its there but not at the same time. This has happened about 6 times now on 3 different shows. I delete and recopy to itunes, try again and it does this all over again. Now I just copied it in again and Im leaving it there till theres a solution, at least here it works, but i would like to organize more. I never had this problem before and to honest, im not eally sure when it start, but very recently.FYI, this is Itunes 10?
What is the number to the right of my iTunes Podcast library category?
I also have a number to the right of my applications category and figured it is the number of updates available. If this also applies to my subscribed Podcasts, then I have no idea which podcasts have updates available. How do I find out?
I have a list of expenses and there are columns such as "Description, Cost" the usual, but I also made one named "Type" that is populated with either "Business, Personal," or "Fixed Expenditures".
I would like, then, to make another table that links to the first with three rows. Each one adds the total cost of Business, Personal, and Fixed Expenditures. How can I accomplish this?
I want to divide the expenses into expenses types and create a sum for each type.
Basically, it categorizes the expenses and puts them in three different totals: one for each "Type" of expense.
I'm tediously working through my address book and getting rid of duplicates and merging. One of the weird things is that there is now a # category at the end of the alphabet. Why are certain contacts listed there and not alphabetized? How do I get them up to the alphabetized part? I can't tell which device they came from.Â
I want to add a category of Home Movies to go along with the movies and TV Shows categories on iTunes. Can this be done? I want it to show up on Apple TV as a option also.
I've just acquired a new MacBook Pro with all the trimmings, and I've been importing my iTunes library from my old Windows PC, for the most part successfully.Â
The one missing piece is that iTunes for Mac does not have a Books icon in the ULH corner toolbar, and when I go into Preferences there's no category "Books" for me to check.Â
In itunes on my iMac, most, but not all, of my home videos and homemade slide shows have been saved in the TV shows directory rather than the movies directory. I've tried to move them to the movies directory in iTunes, but they won't be moved. How can I move them, and then have the moves reflected on my iPad?Â

i bought a macbook pro running lion OS.I suddenly discovered that the Other category has eaten up 498gb of my hard disk space.i have very few documents on the machine.

My Macbook Pro says that it has 300 GB taking up space in the 'other' category of the storage of my MACINTOSH HD. What can possibly take up 300 gb?? Is there a way that I can view the individual items that are taking up space in this 'other' category, or is there a way that I can erase them? My Macbook is always warning me that my "startup disk is almost full", because I do not have any remaining memory with 'other' taking up almost all of it. For this reason, my Macbook is running very slow at times, and is having many errors.
I'm looking for an advanced notepad for editing HTML/CSS. I'm also wondering whether there's a notepad that has good note-taking functionality as I'm going to use my MBP at University next year.

I wasn't sure where to start this thread but since I'm buying an MBA I thought I'd post it here. So I'm buying a maxed out 11" (i7, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD) + superdrive + TB to ethernet port + MagSafe to MagSafe 2 Converter and it's about‚¬2200. The problem is that the maximum amount that can be deducted from my amount is‚¬1500 a day. I contacted Apple asking if they could split the transaction into 2 and the lady said she would have to talk to the finance department about it and get back to me. Has anyone ever done this or know if they will be able to?

I have MYOB, liquid ledger I just downloaded the free trial version to see if I could download bank info, haven't fond it yet. MYOB I have oaid for but cant figure how to download from my bank. So today I decided to send one of my friends a very special christmas present - episodes of SNL. I decided to first send her the Just Commercials episode, because I know its one of her favorite parts of the sketch show. The show is $1.99, and I filled out the "Gift" form. However, when I clicked "Done", the iTunes page said that it had billed my CREDIT CARD. I have $24.95 in store credit, from various gift cards for iTunes. Why did this happen, and how can I fix this? I really really really can NOT have this bill be on my credit card.
I'm going to University in September, so I'm ripping all my DVDs to AVI format (NOT MP3, so I can't add them to iTunes) so I can save storage. And I'd like to view them in Front Row with an image and a description of the movie. So is there a way I can add these to the files? This is how they look in iTunes at the moment.
In my old version of iPhoto '08, I was able to adjust the size of the photo information dialogue box to type and view a description of a photo. We were able to write paragraphs in the photo information "description" area. In the new version of iPhoto ' 11, I can not enlarge the "Add a description" more than the two lines that are visible. Is there a way to enlarge the "Add a description" so that I can see more than two lines?
I like being able to drag a url down to the dock to create a permanent shortcut to that webpage, but how do I change the description that appears above the url icon? I want to create shortcuts to some google forms I created, but when I do so the description is always the URL, which isn't helpful. I need to change the desciption so it says "timesheet" or "sign up form" instead of the url.
- Is there any way to include a description to a Timemachine backup? It would be helpful to include information such as "backup before installing a specific program or system update".

I have been having this problem since I updated safari , whenever I open a youtube video the description in the description box isn't complete and I have to highlight the whole area to see the full content :s
