Aug 6, 2009The default font size used in Entourage clendar is far too samll for these old eyes. Is there any workaround to increase this size?

Jul 5, 2008I am a brand new Mac user. Just purchased a MacBook Air with Entourage. I am wanting to change the font size in that calendar program. The fonts that are used are just way too small. Any ideas on how to accomplish this

Jun 4, 2010I'm trying to increase the font size of my mac, but I can't find it anywhere. I should be really simple to do so I'm probably missing something. On windows you just right click the desktop > appearance and bang. How can I do it on the mac? Oh and I don't want to increase the font of safari or finder, i already know how to do that, what I'm looking for is a way to make all fonts bigger (including menus)... just like you do on windows, make all fonts 1.2 times bigger.

Jan 21, 2009I work in an office that has a mix of Macs running Entourage, and PC's running Outlook.
To collaborate better, I have setup an office calendar in Outlook, which I have shared with the rest of the office. Everyone using Outlook has added the calendar and is now using it.
The Entourage users in the office are not so please with me (I implemented the Exchange system so everyone is mad at me because it's not working!).
However, I get stuck at step #3 - we don't have an 'advanced' button in the bottom left hand corner of the window. So now I am stuck!

Jun 23, 2009I am using Entourage 2008 and sending calendar invitations to Outlook users who are NOT on an exchange server. I am able to receive and accept their invitations but they are not able to accept mine. The Entourage invitations come through with jibberish and no accept or reject option.

Jan 16, 2009I have Entourage 2008 and have since long enabled the sync feature to sync with ical and address book. I use Entourage mainly as sync engine and do my daily work in the standard MAC applications (mail, adressbook, ical).
Since a couple of days I noticed that events did not sync between Entourage and ical. I tried to disable and enable the sync option i Entourage to get it working again. Nothing happened.

Jan 12, 2010So, i have been using entourage for a couple of years and had no problems. I now want to sync my mail and calendars with my new phone (Nokia N97 mini). To do this I believe I have to use Isync, so I have set the sync services preferences in entourage to 'sync events and tasks with ical and .Mac'.
I have a few queries:
1. when I do this my calendar in ical does not represent my calendar in entourage - there are additional events in the ical calendar (it doesnt recognise that these have been deleted from entourage). Ical is also set to sync with mobile me and that has the same additional events as ical.
2. in ical it says I have 2 calendars 'entourage' and 'entourage 2' however 'entourage' doesnt have any events on it. So I deleted it but it just keeps coming back

Dec 10, 2010I just got a new MacBook Pro 15" and am still trying to get used to the one piece trackpad. (My old MacBook had a separate button). The main irritation is that, depending on how I move my fingers, I inadvertantly change the size of the webpage and font. I'm not even sure what I am doing to cause this, but is there a way to "lock" the trackpad so this does not happen?

Apr 30, 2010If you have a 1440 x 900 15" MBP and you reduce the screen to 80% in Firefox or Safari I think it's very close to the font size you'll find standard on the hi-res screens.
Then to get an idea whether or not you're pleased with the font size try using your notebook at this setting for a few days.
My initial experience with the small fonts on the hi-res screens in the area's were the fonts couldn't easily be resized I didn't like it at all the first few hours I typed on it -then- I started to like it, the fonts are smaller but sharp and crisp I was getting sold on the idea of the hi-res screens. Finally, after a few days using the laptop for long periods of time I found my eyes where "much" more strained, not because I couldn't enlarge the fonts on the page I was typing on it was everything else; menu text etc ... glancing and refocusing to view the smaller fonts became tiring on the eyes, making them feel dry/heavy.
I then went back to the 1440 x 900 screen and the eye strain disappeared. I wanted to buy and like the hi-res screen, but not doable for me.
This post was meant to help anyone who's trying to decide what to do but isn't near an Apple Store to take a look for themselves.
The above font size should also be similar.
*** Keeping in mind it will look more sharp and crisp on the hi-res display.

May 4, 2010Sometimes when I cut a line of text and paste it into a mail I am writing and then continue to add to the mail the text gets very tiny.
I can only get back to the original font size if I start a new mail.

One of your threads gives this answer: click on the backround, go to view, view options and set the font size.Yes it does set the font size used in the screen icons, but the font used in the window it opened remains resolutely minute.To compose an email, I must set the font to 24 pt, but then forget to reset it before sending the email. The zoom function does not seem to be available in composer.

Mar 25, 2012Any way to increase this? With my screen at full resolution the print is very small and gives me headaches very quickly, so I have to set it to 1920x1080. I switched to Imac for processing photographs, so the advantage of a good quality screen is somewhat wasted. Also, at the lower resolution, the print is not so sharp.
