Any way to increase this? With my screen at full resolution the print is very small and gives me headaches very quickly, so I have to set it to 1920x1080. I switched to Imac for processing photographs, so the advantage of a good quality screen is somewhat wasted. Also, at the lower resolution, the print is not so sharp.

Since they aren't "real" PDF forms and the document is locked, I need to print to PDF, save as TIFF and then use Preview's annotate feature to mark things up. It works well, but the default font color (red) and default font size (36) are not optimal. And each time I start a new annotation, I need to change back to black and a smaller font size. Is there any way to alter this default?

How can I change the default size font that is shown when I try to read an email in Outlook 2007? I know you can hold shift+mouse scroll button, but that is not the answer since it does not save the size you select. I want it to be saved a certain size and always open that size by default.

On windows you just right click the desktop > appearance and bang. How can I do it on the mac? These old eyes really need bigger fonts on my beautiful MacBook Pro. It is so easy to do in Windows. Why would it not be possible with my MacBook Pro? All the menus, tabs, icon titles, etc. fonts need to be bigger. It is not ergonomically correct to have to sit so close to my MacBook Pro.

I'm using the newest IMac. And the problem is every time I put data using number (iwork) for accounting, the font is very very little almost unable to see by normal. I must pinching my eyes a little bit to see it clearly. Should I change something in setting and how? and this is happen when using safari too. From the first time I bought it, I never change the setting except to change username and password to login in. So I let it all in default version. I'm using IMac 27-inch, Mac OS X Lion 10.7.4 processor 3.1GHz intel core i5. Nothing changed since I bought it till now. It's very annoyed and difficult for me to input, edited, even read it as report.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen printing from Address Book, the Style settings you select are supposed to be remembered as the default for the next time you print from that Style. For example, if you print an envelope from Address Book, you select Style: Envelopes and then choose your options such as "Print my address", Print Company, the font, page orientation, etc. Normally ALL of the options you select under "Style" are remembered for the next time you print and select that Style.
I know this because it works flawlessly on one of my machines (both machines are running 10.7.3). However, it doesn't work on another machine. For example, when I select Style: Envelopes and select a certain font and page orientation, etc., these selections are not remembered as the defaults when I try to print another envelope. I tried deleting the address book .plist files and restating Address Book, but it didn't work.
I am old now and I like to see my emails. So I finally found a way to enlarge the font in an email.
Trouble is, the very next email i want to write, the font is reverted to some microscopic cuneiform.

I prefer not to change the resolution of my iMac. I find that the bookmarks toolbar is not that easy to read with the default font size. How do I change it and make it permanent?

I have one user account with small (say 9pt) Sidebar items in the custom list of Folders/Places. That user was migrated from Leopard but I do not recall if it came over like that or I set it up. The website where I pay bills online has a hot link that says "print" and when I click on it, the printout is in a teeny tiny font.Â
The document that I print after paying each bill is the confirmation of the payment transaction. But it's almost too small to be read without a magnifying glass.Â
I can't find where or how to increase the font size of the printout.  Firefox preferences doesn't include any sort of font size preference to choose from; and my printer application in Settings doesn't list font sizes to choose from or to set as my default size.   Â
