When syncing my entourage calendar somehow disappeared/reset! The calendar looks as if I've never used it. How can I recover it? I can see parts of it in the database, but it's in code! What do I do?
View 2 RepliesIt was one of those times when it "stuck" to the cursor, and got dragged to the desktop, where it disappeared. Now, I can't find calendar anywhere. "Calendar-info" is empty.Â

Does anybody know how to export Entourage calendar items from a local calendar and then import into an Outlook calendar on an Exchange server?
Or have a better way to move calendar items from local to server? I�ve only been able to drag and drop single items. Importing doesn�t ask which calendar to bring the items into.
I work in an office that has a mix of Macs running Entourage, and PC's running Outlook.
To collaborate better, I have setup an office calendar in Outlook, which I have shared with the rest of the office. Everyone using Outlook has added the calendar and is now using it.
The Entourage users in the office are not so please with me (I implemented the Exchange system so everyone is mad at me because it's not working!).
However, I get stuck at step #3 - we don't have an 'advanced' button in the bottom left hand corner of the window. So now I am stuck!
I am using Entourage 2008 and sending calendar invitations to Outlook users who are NOT on an exchange server. I am able to receive and accept their invitations but they are not able to accept mine. The Entourage invitations come through with jibberish and no accept or reject option.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have Entourage 2008 and have since long enabled the sync feature to sync with ical and address book. I use Entourage mainly as sync engine and do my daily work in the standard MAC applications (mail, adressbook, ical).
Since a couple of days I noticed that events did not sync between Entourage and ical. I tried to disable and enable the sync option i Entourage to get it working again. Nothing happened.
The default font size used in Entourage clendar is far too samll for these old eyes. Is there any workaround to increase this size?

is it possible to send a calendar invitation across to Windows user using Outlook 2003/2007 from Entourage 2008? I can receive a invitation from an Outlook to Entourage fine, but am not able to send one back.
View 6 Replies View RelatedSo, i have been using entourage for a couple of years and had no problems. I now want to sync my mail and calendars with my new phone (Nokia N97 mini). To do this I believe I have to use Isync, so I have set the sync services preferences in entourage to 'sync events and tasks with ical and .Mac'.
I have a few queries:
1. when I do this my calendar in ical does not represent my calendar in entourage - there are additional events in the ical calendar (it doesnt recognise that these have been deleted from entourage). Ical is also set to sync with mobile me and that has the same additional events as ical.
2. in ical it says I have 2 calendars 'entourage' and 'entourage 2' however 'entourage' doesnt have any events on it. So I deleted it but it just keeps coming back
Apparently I allowed iCloud to delete all of my calendar and reminder information from my Mac.Can I restore it from iCloud, if not can I restore it from Time Machine?

View 10 Replies View RelatedI've seen lots of threads go by about importing e-mail from one program to another, and my case is seemingly simpler, but I have had no luck so far.
I want to import into Entourage the e-mail from a backup of the disk. I know how to import mail into Entourage from other e-mail programs and I know how to import mail into Entourage from an archive created by exporting from Entourage, but I cannot figure out how to import from a backup of the folders under the "/Users/(username)/Documents/Microsoft User Data" folder, under which is where Entourage stores mail.
i also can't click on anything on the desktop, the only thing that is there and works are the words on the top, stopping at help. Also after every word i write, a pop up says 'alert cannot contact spell checker,' When i open safari i also cannot get it back to finder, and i can't search anything on the computer because after the second letter the screen flashes.
It started this morning i tried to write something in stickies and the computer went crazy to a blue screen and the loading circle started spinning around so i shut it down, when i loaded it up i had all these problems.
I have iBook g4 from 2005. What should i do, i don't know anything about computers. I tried searching online i tried to use killall Dock in terminal it didn't work, it said no matching processes were found.
Where did the calendar widget go??? I can't seem to open it????

View 3 Replies View RelatedReally struggling here to figure this out. I had success with Mail but at work we are required to us Entourage. If someone can give me some guidance. I am able to set the rules but when I view the folders I assign them it does not repopulate latest emails that fits that criteria.
Hopefully I make sense and someone can give me some guidance.
I recently switched from PC to Mac. I have Entourage and Address book, but I really really prefer the format of Outlook. I will only be using it for the contacts/notes section, not an email database. But I love the ease of the contacts. Can anyone suggest a similar program for Mac that I could adapt to?
View 6 Replies View RelatedSeveral times a day, Entourage will launch by itself. It's quite annoying. I haven't noticed a pattern either. I do have My Day running all the time (so I don't have to look at the huge Entourage!) and I have alerts on. Everything in iCal is off and I don't have Mobile Me. I tried turning off everything in Entourage (save the Office daemon which I use for Word, etc.) and using iCal but it still launched by itself. I use Mail, not Outlook.
