I have a G5 Power Mac. I am running Version 10.4.11 of Tiger, with the latest I Tune's 7.6.2. Since upgrading to this version, I can be playing a song, and when it finishes, and I try to select a song up or down the list, I get the old spinning beach ball. I have to force quit I Tunes. And, I get the same results, when I start over.

i bought a song on itunes the other day and i realized that only the beginning half of the song will play and then it will stop for the other half and no sound will be coming out but it will still be playiny. how do i get a refund or how can i redownload the song on itunes?

My parents put a CD upside down into the slot-loading DVD drive of their iMac and it made some funny noises and eventually spit it out. I was just wondering if they hurt it at all. Does it have a protection feature that prevents damaging itself if this happens?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have song compilation albums in itunes. I prefer to seach by Artist, not album. Compilation albums often assign a different artist for each song. I don't like this, as I end up with thousands of artists, each with only one song! Here's an example:
I copy "Classical Chillout" compilation album to itunes. 30 songs show up, each with their own (new) artist name, song name, and all within the album "Classical Chillout.
Instead of having:
SONG Adagio for Strings
ARTIST Samuel Barber
ALBUM Classical Chillout
I want to batch rename all songs so that the Album name becomes the Artist and each "Artist" name is inserted into the "Song" name
SONG Samuel Barber- Adagio for Strings

I know you can use iTunes dj to "play song next" or whatever but I don't like iTunes DJ for the fact that you don't have 100% control over what songs are playing if you want to pinpoint certain songs, etc..
Is there any way that I can line up a song to play after the current song without interrupting the current song and immediately playing the song I want next?
When I download some of my music, it shows up in the User's download file in the Finder, can I delete file in the Finder folder without losing the music file on iTunes?

I purchased a song on itunes but only half the song downloaded. When I go to quick links and select purchase, I see the song as purchased but it wont download. It is behaving like a song you would listen to on itunes. It has the arrow with blue back round still. What can I do to get my song completely downloaded.

This is SO frustrating. I bring in my new iMac for the techs to move my iTunes over, I bring it home and have not been able to listen to one song. I double click on it and it says "Cannot find file, locate?" I say yes, it brings me to the album artwork. I have a decent size music library(40+gig) on my late MB and i find that iTunes is slow to load when I open it and sometimes when im clicking around songs there is a half second pause before the song is highlighted and then starts to play. Since the program is pulling the info off the HD im thinking that if i got a higher capacity 7200 rpm drive that this would help (currently my stock 150gig only has 50gigs left) with this stutter or would upgrading to 4gig ram?

I've opened the required ports except for 88 in my router because it uses that for services (friggin belkin). I'm still getting a strict NAT on my xbox and I should have a Moderate NAT if I have every port but 88 open. I know that Tiger had a setting for port forwarding in system preferences, but for the life of me I cant find it in snow leopard. Does anyone know how I could forward the necessary ports?

1 .Play clip in fast forward mode(2x) at FCP directly from Isilon using 1 FCP � Video and Audio is OK
2.Play clip in fast forward mode(2x) at FCP directly from Isilon using 1 FCP and another FCP is exporting clips to Isilon � Both FCP video and audio is jerking.
3.Play clip in fast forward mode(2x) at FCP directly from Isilon using 2 FCP � Both FCP video and audio is jerking, but when pause 1 FCP playback another one runs smoothly, and when start to play again the jerking also start to occur
4.All this mess happened after i upgrade from 10.6.3
I just moved into a new apartment with my roommate and we got a new router - a Dlink DIR 615. For some reason, I can't seem to open the necessary ports for Transmission. I've been forwarding ports for Transmission forever now, and it always works. I've never done it, however, on a Dlink router - it's always been Linksys. Is there any difference between the two? Included is a screenshot of the settings. And to avoid all the obvious (I think) questions, I do have a static IP address, I have indeed set the right ports on both the settings and Transmission, and I have enabled everything (again, I think). I'm obviously missing something, but I have no idea what it is.

I am regularly receiving GIF attachments from friends by email that show some nice and funny animated cartoons on my laptop and/or iPod touch email.
But when I try to forward them, either from the iPod or from the MacBook, they arrive at the destination showing a small cross instead of the animated cartoons?
Same thing happens when I try to forward a mail that I receive as an HTML page. It will only forward as a text page full of unreadable scripts?
Could someone please tell me if I am missing something in my System to allow me to forward those mails exactly as I receive them?
forwarding ports to my semi-new iMac. I got my iMac back in September and I've been trying to forward my ports since then but have unsuccessfully done so. I've followed every guide i can find but still i dont know what i've done wrong. I have a Belkin N+ router. I know the factory setting on a macbook pro have the delete key going backward. Somehow my macbook pro has the delete key going forward. I think my daughter hit fn/delete by accident. I want the delete key to go backwards to the left. I tried system preference - keyboard- restore default but that didn't work. And hitting control h everytime I make a typo is taking way too long. How do I get it back so the delete backspaces?
