I am not sure why my Safari browser goes blank and I have no idea why. I was working before but it now only shows "Blank page" after I upgraded a new version of Safari about 3 months ago.

Lately I have too many popup on my safari browser windows and even separate popup windows open when I click to continue my search.
I have even an warning message: "you have excessive popups. Windows have been infected. Please call 1-855-617-0709".
What should I do?
My Safari homepage is blank. Bookmarks and toolbar are there but my Earthlink page and address bar are blank. The Safari version is 3.1.2 and the OSX is 10.4.11 My Internet Explorer (which I rarely use) and Firefox are working fine.
View 1 Replies View Relatedmy macbook was almost dead on power when I shut it down. I couldn't charge it because I was on a plane. Anyway, I plugged it in recently and tried starting it up, it makes the start up sound but won't get passed a blank white screen. Is there anyway to fix this? I've heard reinstalling the startup cd might work, but will I lose my files on it? All the pictures of my dog that just passed away on it, and I don't want to lose these. I just got the right cds to back them up and was going to.
View 3 Replies View RelatedThis has happened to me twice in a week on two separate machines, with two separate discs. When inserted into the Mac, the "blank disc" window comes up, even though the disc is full of files. The "get info" window shows 8k of space taken up on the disc.
How can this be, and what can I do to fix it?
Both machines are running Leopard.
When composing Mail and using the Photo Browser to insert a photo, iPhoto no longer has any folders or events listed under it. It is just a listing of every photo in my library. I tried repairing permissions in disk utility, and reinstalled iPhoto and updates, but the folders do not appear.

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy mac mini (2010) has started to not show up CDs lately. I insert an audio CD and it comes up with a message that I have inserted a blank CD. When I do the same in Boot Camp (windows 7) it works fine. I am running Lion. This didn't happen when I installed Lion, it happened only in the last couple of weeks. I tried the method in one post about creating a new user account and trying from there, but to no avail.

I'm always able to type in the address box, and if I have other tabs in the same window they won't blank, but I don't know why it acts this way- is there something wrong with the computer? I have windows XP Operating System, and I have safari installed, but when I open the browser, it hangs and displays a blank white page (without finishing opening any websites). I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but this doesn't seem to work. Also, when I reinstall, all of my bookmarks and reading list are in tact. (although I think if it is officially uninstalled, then none of my bookmarks should be saved). Somehow, it seems to be saving the previous state of the last Safari installation whenever I reinstall.
