Opening CC2014 Photoshop files keeps throwing up error screens warning of a 'strtable error'.
Having just moved to the new MBP and at the same time upgrading to CC2014 means I'm not even clear on whether the file issue is an Adobe or Apple message.Â
Clicking 'OK' on the warning screen allows the file to open seemingly without problems, but it obviously doesn't promote a relaxed attitude to file integrity.Â
I've read suggestions that the issue is related to files having the wrong extension, but that's not the case here. Some of the files are legacy files from CS Photoshop; but many are created in the last few days by the same CC2014 PS app that's trying to open them.Â

How do you open multiple safari screens/views?
View 2 Replies View RelatedDOesn't happen all the time but yahoo will often come in all out of alignment like a web page I would make. Tried cleaning caches, restart, etc. still not working
View 3 Replies View Related there are claims that a uMB with screen 9CA5 is as good as the MBA, Anyone have both to do a side by side.
The screen was the one reason I went with the MBA.
So, I am using Safari Beta 4 however I don't think its the beta that is the problem.
I am clicking a link to open a PDF in Safari and it brings up the window asking what program to use to open it... however, Preview is grayed out and I cannot change to "Enable All Applications" like you can normally, i guess because it's in Safari it's different.
I am pretty sure this started happening when I deleted an Adobe Acrobat Pro trial.
Any one have some insight they would like to share?
I have a MacBook and it works with OS X v.10.5.8.A week ago I noticed that my saved usernames on my Gmail accounts were no longer coming up (or auto filling)No pop-ups offering to save passwords to new sites. This afternoon Safari crashed and keeps crashing. I cannot send report to Apple. I've checked for software update from the drop down menu and it says that no updates are available.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with my MacBook Pro (1st generation, Mac Os X 10.4.11, 1.83 GHz Intel Core Duo, 512 Mo 667 MHz DDR2, bought in Feb 2006). Since the update of safari 4.0, I had a lot of problems with my Mac. First Safari kept closing all the websites I was visiting and after that I couldn't open safari again until I reboot my mac again. This changed with the new update 4.02 (I now have Safari 4.0.3). But the big problem is that I can't open some softwares anymore. Such as Office 2004, some games and the most important ChemDraw Ultra 12. Each time, the icon jumps in the Dock and then disappears. I tried to repair my harddrive but everything was alright. I don't know what to do anymore. I never had a single issue with my computer before. I have to give back a chemical report at the end of the week for my studies and I can't use ChemDraw!
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using Safari 5.0.2 on a Macbook Pro running OS 10.5.8. I have Safari set as my default browser and I have RSS feeds set in Safari preferences to use Google Reader as my default RSS reader. Problem is when I click the RSS indicator in the address bar of Safari to add the feed Camino opens up with the dialog to add the feed to Google Reader.Obviously this should happen in Safari not Camino. I also have Google Chrome, Firefox, and Opera installed along with Camino and Safari. All the other browsers RSS work as they should. What could be causing this in Safari?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI can't seem to find the right preference order to make it so when I click on a link that should open a new tab, it instead keeps opening up a new window. I have the first and third option checked in the tabs preference but it doesn't seem to matter. I might be delirious from playing with leopard all day/night, but I just want to figure this one last option out before bed. I Would like to open links in new tab WITHOUT having to hold down the command key.

Changing the Safari preference does NOT work. Reseting Safari doesn't either. Should I custom reinstall Safari from the USB thingy? Â

Everytime I click on a link to download something (mostly powerpoints or documents for school), I click on the link and it opens up a blank window tab which i have to close and it becomes quite annoying and pointless. Is there a way to keep this from happening? Ive searched in the preferences with no answers.

is there a way to open all tabs in a bookmark folder at once without having Safari automatically close the ones already open?In firefox when you click to open all bookmarks in new tabs, they start right after the last tab already open but with Safari you lose the tabs you were using!
View 4 Replies View RelatedEvery time I go to click a link, or open a new Safari window, nothing seems to happen. No window, links don't seem to work, though they change color as if activated. Did some searching, found that the windows are opening just fine, but opening on a duplicate screen somewhere where I can't see them. Figured a simple restart would fix this, and it did--for about 3 windows. Now it's right back to the same thing. What's the fix? All software/updates are installed/current.
View 5 Replies View RelatedSo, strange thing happened today - I got home from work, came downstairs to my mac, and clicked on Safari in the dock.
And nothing happened.
So I clicked again. Ahh... there was the reassuring bounce from the dock. Until it stopped bouncing without opening.
For some reason or another, Safari will no longer start running on my computer! I reparied permissions, trashed the prefs, etc - to no avail. It's not working on other accounts on this computer either.
Any ideas on what to do? Btw, for what it's worth, I can access the iTMS just fine through iTunes... don't know if that will help diagnose the problem or not...
I want Safari to show the download box when I e.g. click on a mp3 link, instead of opening it with Quicktime inside Safari. Other browsers has had it in preferences where you could specify what the browser should do with what file types. How do I change this behaviour in Safari (4 BETA btw)?
View 7 Replies View Relatedwhat is the reason for the pinwheel? I seem to get it more and more often usually within safari when opening tabs but sometimes when I'm opening apps also. I'm maxed out at 4gbs from OWC I didn't seem to have this problem before I upgraded my ram but then again I didn't have the 2gbs for very long. Also... is the fact that watching videos ie youtube or playing omgpop... (I'll admit u can find me on there, gemmers is my game) makes my laptop super hot mean anything? or what the reason behind it is? kinda curious my sisters boyfriend with the umbp says that his computer doesn't get hot when watching videos but when i watch videos the left side of the keyboard gets very warm almost kinda hot ~80C on average after about 10 minutes of video before the fans kick in but even at the it sits around 70C.
