We’re sorry, but the Safari browser version you are currently using does not support the community toolbar. How can I make this box stop coming up since I don't even know what it is. Can it be deleted?

Safari on my MacBook just stopped working. After several failed attempts to fix the problem, I purchased and installed Snow Leopard today. At first there were no issues and I was very relieved. Now when I open Safari, I get a pop up that tells me the community toolbar doesn't support my Safari.

In the past couple of days I cannot open any windows in Safari. When I start the program up, I get the toolbar only. Nothing I do lets me open up a window. I even have to force quit the application sometimes to get it to close. I have reinstalled the program, removed the preferences, run Disk Warrior and Disk Utility with no luck. As a result, I have to use Firefox to do my browsing.Has anyone had this problem? Is there a fix for this?

Unfortunately, my online mailbox keeps blacking out saying that my messages more than a week old cannot be displayed at this time. I know developer previews have at least one specific goal at giving third party devs early access so they can get a sense of new APIs and start updating/creating apps, but they also serve for bug reporting. Do you think Apple should open up OS X beta testing to a larger community of users?
