Mac Mini :: Safari Browser Does Not Support Community Toolbar
May 24, 2012
Why do I get the "We're sorry but the Safari browser version you are currently using does not support the community toolbar"? It pops up every time I open Safari. I have installed Lion but it is still there?
When I open Safari an error message pops: Community Toolbar. We're sorry but the Safari browser version you are using does not support the community toolbar. I'm using Safari version 5.1.5.
Safari browser version 5.1.5 (6534.55.3) does not support the community toolbar. How do I either get rid of the warning or get the browser to accept the toolbar?
a)What version of Safari DOES support community Toolbar? b) If I don't want community toolbar how do I remove this message? c) What is Community Toolbar?
Sarfari won't open when I turn on my Mac. I get the message that the Sarfari I'm using doesn't support the community toolbar. How do I go back to my old Sarfari that did support it.
Everytime I open my safari, I am encounter with this error ''We’re sorry, but the Safari browser version you are currently using does not support the community toolbar.'' Actually it is harmless but annoying. I am working on it for an hour but I couldn't find a solution. I tried to remove conduit, I tried to download toolbar from the website which is given in every discussions but it didn't work either. This is the main error from my consoleÂ

Safari on my MacBook just stopped working. After several failed attempts to fix the problem, I purchased and installed Snow Leopard today. At first there were no issues and I was very relieved. Now when I open Safari, I get a pop up that tells me the community toolbar doesn't support my Safari.
Every time I open Safari a little box opens and says:Â
Community ToolbarÂ
We’re sorry, but the Safari browser version you are currently using does not support the community toolbar. How can I make this box stop coming up since I don't even know what it is. Can it be deleted?
Every time i open Safari now, a warning message is displayed saying "The community toolbar you are using is not supported by this version of Safari" I do not know of any toolbars I have downloaded, but how can I fix this?
I have Lion 10.7.2 and am running Safari version 5.1.2, hopefully I am good so far. I'm not sure what hapenned, I must have done something, but one day my address bar decided it wanted to play hide and seek and it won....the "show toolbar" option does nothing upon clicking it, neither does the "customize toolbar" option.
Just picked up a MacBook Air myself [and LOVING it!]. I've been checking out the multitouch apis now present in AppKit (taken from cocoadex) and I'd like to get some other MacBook Air owners to try it out and tell me their impressions. The application is a simple web browser (more info at flarebrowser.googlecode site) but the multitouch version is an experimental build that's not on the site yet, so if you'd like to try it just post here and I'll let you know the link. Using multitouch you can pinch to zoom a page in/out, and three-finger-swipe to change tabs. Update: I have an experimental Intel-only build available from [URL].
Video streaming service Hulu posted and quickly retracted an item on its official blog Thursday, in which the company stated that it doesn't see HTML5 in its immediate future.Eugene Wei, vice president of product with Hulu, said that his company's contractual requirements make the transition to HTML5 too difficult. The current player on the website, built with Adobe Flash, does a great deal more than stream video."We continue to monitor developments on HTML5, but as of now it doesn?t yet meet all of our customers' needs," Wei wrote. "Our player doesn?t just simply stream video, it must also secure the content, handle reporting for our advertisers, render the video using a high performance codec to ensure premium visual quality, communicate back with the server to determine how long to buffer and what bitrate to stream, and dozens of other things that aren't necessarily visible to the end user."
Safari was accidentally deleted from my MB pro. Im running OSx 10.6.8 with safari 5.0.5.I was able to install it again using the install disk and checked for any software updates but it still is not showing up in my toolbar.I searched and tried the view/customize to drag the default set to toolbar, made sure show toolbar is selected etc, but still no middle section of toolbar. When I would try to drag the default set to toolbar nothing happens. The toolbar area is being shown, with the left and right arrows (on the left) and the Google search window shows (on the right), but the center white window to type web address' is not.Â
This issue has been annoying people for a number of years and all kinds of solutions have been posted by Geniuses, mainly to carefully dump the Safari .plist from the Preferences folder. That does not fix the issue! What does work is this: View, Enter FULL SCREEN. Click it 'OFF'. The display will resize and IF you want to stretch it bigger, you can BUT the Toolbar will stop disappearing!
Suddenly the toolbar at the top that shows the website and a spot to search google is gone. The only way I can access it is to go to Edit>Find>Google Search. Once I've searched the toolbar disappears again and then there is no "back" button, so if I need to search again I have to go back to Edit>Find>Google Search. UGH!
My Safari top toolbar rolls out of sight, this reappears once I move the cursor to the top of the screen but is annoying. Does anyone have any idea how to stop this? If look in View 'Hide Toolbar' is the first option at the top, this is greyed out and cannot do anything with it as a result.
