QuickTime :: Show Frame Number Instead Of Time For Measurement For 10.1
May 25, 2012
I'm trying to see the frame number instead of the time. to see the frame number. I believe it was possible for previous versions, but not the latest 10.1 version.
it's possible to view total running time of a video in Quicktime? By that I mean - on the left you can see elapsed time. I'd like to be able to see total time somewhere. Say a movie is 1hr57mins long. I'd love to be able to see that somewhere.
Before when I used to view pictures they show up in (from what I can remember) Picture...im not sure what else is missing but after a while they started showing up in colorsync which i didnt like then i deleted it and the pictures started showing up in quicktime. Can someone please tell me what is the application i can download so my pictures start showing up in an application that starts with "Picture" because it takes up less room
I've been seeing all these battery posts and I was just wondering how my batt. usage stacks up with other peoples. I guess posting the health doesn't hurt either. My MBP has been used about 5 and half months, i have 90 cycles and 94% health. Apologies if this thread already exists, blame it on this sites horrible search function.
I have about a hundred "songs" of comedians telling jokes. The trouble is that these comedians get mixed up in my songs and whenever I shuffle through i always run into one of these comedians.
Is it possible to only have a certain group of "songs" stay in a playlist, away from the full list of songs?
I'm considering to buy a new iMac (21,5"/nvidia or ati) and I'm wondering if someone has already measured the actual power consumption. In it's environmental paper, Apple documents that it uses less than 2W in sleep mode and 37,5 W with the display off. Did anyone try if this is also measured in real life? I may sound a bit paranoid, but half a year ago I bought a mac mini 2007 at a stock clearance, and I was shocked to find out that just the powerblock plugged in already consumes 8W, the mini itself in standby consumes 11W. Add to that a screen, external speakers and an external disk and the total standby power consumption of the lot is 25W. Terrible.
Besides the energy consumption, I'm also a bit disappointed with the speed of the mini, but that's probably largely due to the low RAM (1GB). So rather than going for the latest mini model, I'd like to go for the power of an iMac. But I would be really happy if someone could confirm the power consumption. Specifically I'm looking for power consumption - In sleep mode - While streaming itunes to an airport express, with the display off (I assume the display goes to sleep automatically when streaming. Right?) - While in normal, not too heavy operation (eg surfing, mailing & itunes)
I have just updated to Lion and now my folders no longer show number of items on the bottom. Is there a fix for this? I allways found that handy. Now I have to click on an icon on the top, This is a backward step if that is now the only way to see the number of items.
Just like the title states, I need to edit stuff from a TV show to play for my class. I tried to open it in quicktime but no luck- I don't have the option. I have the pro version but am I missing something? If I can't do this- any other programs you guys know?
I just bought the new Quicktime Pro application- for $30. Cannot find out how to download it. The "downloading steps" first instruct me to go to my APPLE ICON, Select SYSTEM PREFERENCES, and then select the QUICKTIME icon.... But I can't find the Quicktime Icon. It's not there. Yes, I already have the Quicktime 7 application. So WHY won't it show up in my System Preferences?!
I have a weird thing going on.. I live in a home with 3 macs 3 iphones and a ipad. Our router is an Time Capsule. The weirdest thing happens though. At a given time it seems like only some of the computers can get internet. They all can connect to time capsule, but it is broadcasting an actually internet signal to only some of the devices. Which ones get the signal is totally random to. Does anyone have an idea of what's going on?
I was wondering if anyone has the part numbers for the new Time Capsule releases (500gig/1 tb). I want to know if the ones at my local stores are old or not.
I think I've searched just about every thing I can think of at Apple's site....Mac, Store, and Support sections but I just can't seem to find the model # for the current TC. Where does one find this??
My TM backups seem to be proceeding normally on my MBP (which is only sometimes connected to its Time Capsule), but spotlight takes about an hour to index my backup volume each time. Looking at my system.log, I notice that the TM backup volume number is increasing by one each time:
[code]...
and so on. Is it normal that the volume name increments each time like this? Could this be related to the long indexing time, which just started recently?
Only the number keys on my keyboard are malfunctioning besides the number 0. For example when I press 1 it appears as q1. When I press 2 it appears as w2.
I am not sure if I accidentally pressed something on my keyboard that has changed the functioning of my number keys. I've tried fidgeting with the keyboard settings in System Preferences and holding down the f6 key but nothing has worked.
I am new to mac, and was just wondering if it is possible to show both the percentage and time remaining at the top where it shows the battery, i know its possible to show one or the other, and able to click and it shows the other one, but would prefer to have them both showing.
I asked earlier. Purchased QT Pro. Every time I launch it I have to re enter the registration # which is a huge pain.Someone (Link) wanted me to open the terminal and run some diagnostic. There is NO Way i should have to go into my terminal and run programs to run an apple program I just purchased. I am using Lion 10.7.4,
I have an i7 MBP with the latest updates for Leopard with VMWare and Windows 7 Home. When the MBP is started on the LAN by WiFi it is able to connect to the Internet immediately. However, when I try to connect or see the MBP from another Windows 7 Home computer on the same LAN, it takes approximately 6 to 7 minutes before it shows up in "Network" on the other computer. No "Refresh" will locate it before the time. When I start VMWare and Windows 7 loads, it shows up immediately in "Network".
I upgraded to Lion and now my Time Machine does not work. When I connect the disk it starts and then shuts down. It does not show neither on desktop or on Time Machine. I hate the thought of reinstalling Snow Leopard but..
Why does the date column show time? In the Date Added column it shows the actual time it was added. I don't want to see this. Is there a way to remove it?
