It looks like the most recent revison to OS X, that being 10.7.4 moved, or otherwise changed the way the system displays the background image for the login screen. I use a custom image file for mine, and now that same file does not display in 10.7.4Â The file (my coustom image) is still there, but it looks like OS X does not use that file anymore. This is the file name:[URL] how to customize the login screen background in the new build?

When I open a new finder window, it doesn't have anything in it. If I change the preferences to another place, I get the contents. If I change them back to the desktop, I get nothing. Searching for something gets me items, but I would like my finder window to behave again. I just don't know where the preferences file is now, in Lion..

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just bought a macbook and wanted to copy over all my firefox settings. I found this site http://www.10voltmedia.com/blog/2008...ith-mozbackup/ which explains how. I did most of the steps like using mozbackup and making it's exported files into a zip but when it came to replacing the folder they said on the mac I can't seem to find a firefox folder. Even the mozilla folder I found doesn't have anything in. I tried finding it by doing a search for the addons I have installed into firefox thinking I might locate it that way but no luck. Another webpage said I could find the location of the folder through fiefox itself but the way it told me also didn't seem to exist on my mac. How can I find my firefox folder?

I upgraded to CS6 yesterday and could install the programmes properly. Once I launchpad to start using the new Phptoshop though, I couldn't find it anywhere. I moved the app outside the CS6 subfolder and placed it into the actual apps folder. It didn't appear anyway and this way I wasn't able to launch the app neither.
