OS X V10.7 Lion :: Can't Change FaceTime Sign In Email
Feb 18, 2012I am having trouble with my FaceTime on my Mac. Awhile back, I changed my Apple ID's email address and deleted my old one, and now FaceTime won't give me the option to sign in with my new address.

Oct 29, 2010I have a problem with the new beta of FaceTime for Mac. Right now, all I can do with it is display a window of my webcam. I can't click on Preferences in the menu bar and I also notice that "Sign Out" is grayed out. I haven't entered an Apple ID because I wasn't prompted for one. I have recently checked Apple Software Update and I have all updates installed. I also have OS X 10.6.4 installed.

May 7, 2012My facetime was working fine until recently it asked for a login and this time when I did login with my Apple id, it prompted for email verification. However it is not able to complete the verification and keeps giving the following error message : Could not verify the email address. Please check your network connection and try again.
I have checked the support forums and they all point towards preferences. Problem is that the preferences option for face time is grayed out and I am not able to use them.Â

Jun 2, 2012I wonder if with regards to accessing FaceTime on multiple devices. We have a number of Mac products (iPad, iPhones and Mac Book Pro) at our house, all connected to one wireless network. Some of these devices can log into FaceTime but others cannot (notably the MacBook pro), using the same Apple ID details. The error message I get is that I should check my network connection. However, the connection is fine, and other devices have no problems with connecting to Facetime.

Apr 12, 2012It appears that I'm unable to sign-in to the App Store. The place is well found under the apple sign and in the dashboard and both respond well to all demands except for the 'sign-in'. None of my other 5 Apple computers render this problem.  The actual computer is a MacPro4,1, Quad-Core Intel xeon, 16 Gb Memory and Boot ROM version MP41.0081.808. Mar 25, 2012Is there some security phenomenon that will not allow me to copy and paste my PW into the slot/space for Password, when I try and signin to Apple forums. The allocated space where I would normally paste my PW does not show anything being pasted,, and I have also used Paste in the menu area , and even tried dragging my PW into this area, to no avail. Of course, I can type it in manually,, however, my PW is strong,, and generated, and find it very arduous to type in.Perhaps a 10.7 feature?
