the process apple80211agent.app when Forced to quit restarts itself. I have removed the process and was wondering if anyone else has this file?

I'm having trouble installing a brand-new copy of Snow Leopard onto my Macbook. It loads just fine, and I'm able to start the installation. Halfway through the process, the computer restarts itself and cancels the installation. Occassionally I get a warning sign from the installation program that says it can't read the disk and that it needs to be cleaned. The disc is brand new and isn't scratched so i'm not sure why it's giving me that warning. Anything I can do to fix this or do I need to get the disc replaced?

Only the Apple logo and a spinning Beachball which never disappears. I can start up in the Unix mode and also in the Windows mode. I have an Imac with Osx 10.4. I could reinstall the system but probably I will loose a lot of unique files and poto's. In the Unix mode I have removed the Installer file from the desktop but it didn't change the startup. I have little experience with Unix.

So in the end I force quit the computer. When it came to restarting I get the usula apple symbol and sound when start up begins but there it stops. The spoked wheel just keeps spinning below the Apple Symbol.

Beenn victim of visus where the virus keeps emailing my address book - happened 3 times now. It is hitting my hotmail address book.

Finder will flick to blue screen for a split second and restart quitting all open apps. Not restarting the iMac, but just Finder? I've ran Disk Utility and found no problems and also ran a Hardware Test and found no problems. The only indication I have is in Console which without posting the whole log the below lines stand out to me as potential issues:

This line is present numerous times with each application name that was open next to it indicating to me a reason each app has quit? Then a long list of this line repeated;

Followed by:

The first time I ran the checker and just chose Keep. It then asked a similar question and I chose Keep again. Then it checked programs, etc. I rebooted and ran it again, and go the same message. This time, I just did not answer and the script time ran out.Â

I was doing google searches yesterday, and I clicked on a link, and a site opens a whole bunch of pop up windows, you know how it is..so I quit Safari altogheter. After that I kept doing google searches, and I noticed that when I clicked on link a specific site of an association that is legit, it redirected me to one of those shady pharmacy website. So that was weird.I reset safari,came here, then I got the anti flashback tool, my mac seemed cleared. I got clamxav. I checked www.dns-ok.us. is there a way to have the script stop (would 'try if' do this?) or alternative is to force quit this script after 10 minutes with an other script.

Recently I have been unable to quit Safari, it starts running really slow and when I try to quit and restart nothing happens. The 'Quit' command under 'File' is greyed out and right clicking in the dock doesn't reveal 'Force Quit'; only 'Quit' shows but that doesn't work. The only solution is to re-boot the computer. This has happened a number of times recently.

Since Tiger and even more so with Leopard, I have found the 'Force Quit' command to be a pointless white elephant.
When the spinning beachball hits it tends to make the application unresponsive and then spread to all other apps. Attempting to bring up the force quit function is equally fruitless. Of course, by the time it eventually pops up, the offending application has either quit itself (I'm looking at you Adobe CS4) or has become responsive again (I'm looking at you Safari).
Has anyone noticed any improvement in Snow Leopards?
