Here's my problem: I'd very much like to download an embedded flash video from this page: http://bit.ly/d24fEU. (One has to click 'start' for the flash to load.)
But web developers have become wily it seems. No longer do the old methods appear to work. I've tried: Apps for downloading youtube videos, using the Activity window in Safari (only a small SWF file of about 21kb appears in the activity window), numerous Firefox plugins� To no avail.
There are apparently apps for Windows that can manage to download these tricky types of videos, is there anything or any method on the Mac? I've been ripping my hair out trying. I've searched the forum, but none of the suggested methods work.

[Look at attachment one]. When i looked at my tab section in preferences on Safari 4 it didn't have it [Look at attachment two]. i want to be able to click one the "Always show tab bar" and deactivate that. For some reason my mail application I use for my Gmail account is retrieving a discarded mail draft that I created a while ago that just keeps downloading into the "Recovered Messages" folder. It keeps downloading the same piece of mail, and no matter how many times I try to delete them, they continue to be retrieved by the application until my laptop runs out of space. What should I do? I've looked everywhere for any possibilities. All I pretty much have to do is find that mail message and delete it right? The only thing is, where is the application looking to find this piece of mail?

I have a dual monitor setup on my mac pro. I didn't like having my second monitor on when I was running games, so I installed SwitchResX, which allows me to deactivate my second monitor. Does anyone know if this frees up video memory for the game?
I emailed the creator of the program, and asked him if he knew if this would free up video ram for my other programs, but he did not know. He said that this would release the frame buffer, but wasn't sure if this meant that all of the card's video ram was released to handle the one monitor. I am skeptical that it does, because the system profiler still sees the second monitor, and says that it is online.
