Sep 18, 2009I recently bought a Nokia 3120 classic, I was able to fin a plug in that will replace one of iSync�s metadata.plist list of one of the Nokias, and then it will sync and everything will work fine in Leopard 10.5 Now that I�ve updated to Snow Leopard it just won�t, even if I do the previous proceeding. My macbook paires with the phone, and the phone with the MB, but neither iSync or File sharing via Bluetooth work

Oct 21, 2009I've just got a new phone and im having trouble syncing it to my macbook. Normally it's just a case of getting the plugin and ar she blows but according to the internet the new isync has disabled most of the old plugins. I know I can get them with nova media but I don't really want to spend more money on it... Does anyone know of a method to make plugins work again or know of anywhere I could get one? Actually, while were on the subject, does anyone have a clue why apple updated isync, removed half the phones and disabled loads of plugins for seemingly no reason??? just me and my mad rants

Jun 13, 2009... long time reader, first time poster!! So I'm doing it. I'm switching from PC to Mac. I've been waiting for a while now and the new MacBook Pro's have convinced me. I'm buying the 13 inch this week.
However I'm slightly worried about the upgrade to Snow Leopard in September.
My question is if I buy a new MacBook Pro this week and upgrade from the current version of Leopard to Snow Leopard will it be the EXACT same as the version of Snow Leopard that ships with new MacBooks after September?
Is the upgrade just the same as the full software version available post September? Does the upgrade it just detect if you have the previous software and installs as if it were the full? Or does it just "patch" things depending on what's different from previous versions?
I can wait till after Snow Leopard is released in September 09 if it is different to Leopard upgraded to Snow Leopard.

Jun 1, 2009I recently received a copy of the latest build of Snow Leopard (10A354 i believe). Now when i upgraded the first time GeekTool was working fine. Then i was working on changing the MenuBar to black and the whole system just crashed on me. I had to do a complete reinstall of regular Leopard and then upgrade again to Snow Leopard. Last night was rough. Sooo im not going to try that again for a little while.

Only way to quit apps was command tab Q...but computer was still frozen, had to hold power button to restart then happened again several times, It may have to do with hitting return or using the numberic keypad.
