I have imac 09 (OS X 10.5.8) and want to upload pics (Raw-CR2) from my canon rebel t2i. When I try it says the file is unrecognizable. My first set of pics were not RAW and they uploaded just fine this only happened when I formatted the card and set it to RAW. Not sure what the problem is.

In windows while surfing the web you can right click on a picture of something and it'll give you the option to print picture. Is there no easy way to do this in Mac OS X? The easieast way i've found was to copy and paste it into a word file then print.

My camera will not Import any pictures since the upgrade onto the macbook only, the camera is recognised on the iMac in iphoto and the easyshare software. I had no issues with the camera using Leopard. The error message reads, "camera not detected, please retry" this is in the kodak easyshare software and the pictures will not Import into iPhoto either.
I have a Kodak M532 easyshare camera with a Sandisc SDHC memory card. The camera uses a usb lead. The memory card works on the iMac and it is also recognised in the Kodak printer memory card reader, so I don't think it is the memory card at fault. I took out the memory card then took some pictures, iPhoto and easyshare software recognised the camera and Imported them on the macbook.

I have a Samsung external drive from which I can play and view these small discs that are not compatable with iMac. I need to upload from these discs to a New Project or a New Event in iMovie. I cannot figure a way to upload for editing and produce a finished movie. My iMac forced me to get a Canon HF-R100 camcorder with an SD card for the iMac SD slot.

Trying to upload photos to Kodak and Heritage galleries. Worked just fine up until a week a go. Now they won't upload. Photos load into computer just fine. Don't understand why this became such an issue. Internet speed has stayed the same and Kodak and Heritage reports no issues.

MacBook Pro OS X 10.6.8 Anytime I try to upload or add a file to a program, ie: Attach a file to an email, or something of the sort, the media related spotlights on the sidebar appear empty, even though I have plenty of items that should be shown when clicked on. The finder upload window drops down, and I'll click on iTunes or another media related tab, but none of my music, playlists, or items related to that tab show up. One software says I cannot upload an image because the image or the container folder does not have permission. Indeed there is one "unknown" in permissions, that I cannot get to a read write no matter how hard I try -- both on the folder, the desktop, and the file (this is all on my laptop)Â I've done a repair permission.

Up until recently when I had a folder open it would show the file icons as the file (i.e. a thumbnail of a picture would be the icon of the jpg file). Now it shows the preview icon, the program it would use to access the file. How do I set it back to show the thumbnails?

My question probably is a stupid one. What is the best way to import all my pics from my old MacBook that has Aperture 1.5 on it? This old MacBook is backed up always to an external firwire drive which I can in turn hook up to the new iMac. I'm assuming (= hoping) that Aperture 2 will just have some kind of import option that will do all the work for me. Or is this too much to expect?
So I have moved all of my photos from my pc over to my mac harddrive. When I look for the pictures in Finder it uses Preview to open the pictures. To see them in iPhoto I guess I have to import all of the pictures? Is that correct? If I do this the pics will be on my machine twice?
Now let's say I have new pics on a camera that i'm trying to get on my machine. Is the only way to import into iPhoto or is there a way I can get the pics into my pre-existing folders?
Does anyone have pics of these dead pixels? I keep hearing about them and i'm really curious to see what it looks like!

I have been scanning old pictures into iPhoto, adjusting the dates to put them in chronological order, and merging into events by years. In iPhoto, the pictures are in the order I want in each Event per year. However, each time I try to export the events to the Burn Folder in prep for burning to dvd, they arrive in Burn Folder all out of order! Instead of 1973 - 1974 - 1975 - 1976, they are all mixed up. I've taken the time to go to Photos and Adjust Dates on all of the hundreds of photos, yet that order does not transfer to a folder. WHAT do I need to do?

View 2 Replies View RelatedThe problem is that when all I have is safari windows open, expose keeps lining them side by side instead of spreading them out. In the first pic you'll see what I mean. If I open something else along with the safari windows though, it will spread them like normal, second pic for example. I think it probably happened after one of the last updates.
