The problem is that when all I have is safari windows open, expose keeps lining them side by side instead of spreading them out. In the first pic you'll see what I mean. If I open something else along with the safari windows though, it will spread them like normal, second pic for example. I think it probably happened after one of the last updates.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI'm a new Mac owner (i know i can hear you grown lol) and sorry to ask such a boring question but I can't seem to get my Expose to work, i can get spaces to work just fine although not when using the nominated hot keys - it only works when i click on the icon in the dock. I can't see anything in this forum that really details every step of expose and I don't want to to play with that app too much in case i create an abomination that I don't know how to fix.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm on an older blackbook (2 years old? ca. summer 2007) running Leopard and I'm getting some weird behavior with Finder. When I right click on anything in the dock, i.e., to close a program, the dock locks up, I can't click on any of the menu options, Expose stops working and the alt+tab interface stops working, as if everything is frozen... This caused me to think that Finder was crashing, but then I discovered that when I went up to the menubar at the top, everything "unfroze." The dock went back to normal and was usable, expose works fine and the alt-tab interface works fine too.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThe other night I pulled some fonts that I downloaded a few years ago off of my external hard drive and installed them one by one into Font Book to the User profile. Right after I finished this, I noticed that now about 80% of the text on pages in Safari now appeared as the Yahoo font, instead of what they used to be (I visit about 10 different sites on a regular basis, so there's probably a variety of fonts that normally appear, but now most things appear as the Yahoo font). I don't have any style sheet selected in the Safari preferences, and the font preferences are untouched from what they are when Safari is installed. Not only are a lot of sites now hard to read because of the mess that the Yahoo font around size 10 is, but its just flat out annoying to read that crazy font.

After I installed Snow Leapord I have had one small problem and can not figure it out. This problem only happens in Safari when I read some e mails. The letters of the words in the mail are scattered and unreadable. If I copy and paste the text it is readable and looks fine. If I go to Fwd. the message, it is sent in a readable manner. This does not happen in entourage ever. The following is what it looks like on some messages. In the past I got messages from this sender and others with no problems.

Does anyone know of a Mac compatible webcam that also works well in Windows (Boot Camp), that has an adjustable zoom angle through a manual zoom ring on the lens, or included software?
I had recently purchased, then returned, a Logitech Quickcam Vision Pro for my Mac Pro. I returned it because the picture in iChat was almost pitch black (but was fine in Photo Booth), but more importantly, the zoom angle was way too wide.
I am using Microsoft Outlook:Mac 2011 and recently when I reply the original message is not included. This does not happen all the time and does not happen if you right click the message and then click reply. I note this was an issue some time back (2007/8) with Safari 3.0 but cannot find any more references to this problem.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got a powerbook 667Mhz DVI yesterday. It has 10.3 on it with a bunch of apps and stuff pre-installed. But when I launch some of the apps, it freezes. So I want to just get 10.4 and install it and start fresh. But do I need a special powerbook install disc, or can I just go out and buy the newest standard OSX version, which will include all the drivers that I would need for it?

i have a macbook running 10.5.2 and i want to upgrade it. i heva a mac mini whivh came with a disc of 10.6.2 on it and i wanted to know weather i can safely upgrade my macbook using this disc, without wiping my memeroy. the thing is, its not just the standard 10.6.2 install disc, it says mic mini 10.6.2 install disc, so i belive it is a biuld disc ( if thats what they are called) and i wasnt sure if i can use this or not.

My wife and I are anticipating the birth of our first child in about two weeks, and we'd planned on sending out birth announcements via email instead of snail mail. As of now, we've got about 150 friends and family members that we'd like to send our birth announcement email to...
I wanted to know how I can do this without running into any issues, because I know that most email applications (on both the sending and receiving ends) will not allow you to send and won't accept emails where 150 people are CC'd (protection against spamming).
I know of several bulk email programs (such as the one's that can be found on versiontracker here), but I wasn't sure if I would be able to use the built-in templates provided by Apple Mail??
Anyone have any ideas as to how I can set things up ahead of time so that once our baby is born, sending out the announcement (USING THE APPLE MAIL TEMPLATE) will be a simple matter of clicking a button or two?
