View 1 RepliesWhen I hit ⌘+t to turn on the visualizer, it looks like the attached pic. It only uses the bottom left corner of the screen. But, when I hit escape and then select Full Screen/hit ⌘+f it works properly.

View 6 Replies View RelatedCan iTunes project the Visualizer onto a 2nd monitor (with a dual monitor setup) but keep the controls on the main monitor?
View 17 Replies View RelatedWhen I go to play songs with the jelly visualizer on the visualizer will freeze for a few seconds after around 15 seconds, it is very annoying. I have an early 08 2.4GHz Macbook if anyone else with this model wants to see if theirs has the same problem incase it might be a hardware issue.
View 1 Replies View RelatedThe title pretty much says it. If I uncheck the "show Visualizer in full screen" box it works, but if I have it checked it won't run the visualizer. Even if I am already running the visualizer then right click and choose show in full screen it just brings me back to the music page. This is realy been baffling me.
This particular system is running Windows 7 64 bit. My Win 7 Laptop running 32bit it works fine. Not sure if this has anything to do with it but I figured it was worth a mention.
System Spec: Late 09 21" 3.06, GeForce 9400, 4gb ramCurrently I have itunes and safari running, if i enable the visualizer my imac is noticeably slower, especially when browsing the internet.I thought it might be the fact I was running a second 1080p display from the 9400 would have caused the slow down. But the same thing occurred after i disconnected it. After repairing permissions and restarting, pmram etc.Is the 9400 causing the slowdown? I know its fairly old but itunes visualizer and safari should be quite basic tasks. Its not the end of the world i know but does the 27" imac have similar issues as i plan to upgrade my machine in 2011.
From one day to the next, the Safari pdf visualizer stopped working. Now when I open a pdf link, I only see the 'grey' safari windows, plus a strange gibberish when i scroll the Safari window. The pdf is there, because I can save it or open it with Preview. I do use occasionally Adobe Acrobat pro (9), which I know to be a potential source of the problem. However, the adobe pdf plugin (which is mentioned in previous threads) was never installed.Â
What I have already done, and did not work:Â
1. erase all internet plugins (in ~/Library, as well as in /Library/. As I mentioned, the Adobe plugin was not ther)
2. deinstall Adobe Acrobat Pro 9, just in case
3. reinstall Safari from scratch
4. remove the ~/Library/Safari folder so that it would be recreated
5. remove all Safari extensionsÂ

My RSS Visualizer screen saver no longer displays 'Press the 1 key...', 'Press the 2 key...' etc below each headline like it used to. It's simply missing, but everything else works fine.Â
I actually use that feature to read the NY Times headlines, so I'd like to get it back. I searched for other people with the problem and found nothing.

I had a crash on my HP laptop and had to re-install windows XP on it. I have also installed again Itunes on the laptop.
Question: Is there a way to transfer the contents of the many songs from Itunes Desktop (all from my own CD's) to the laptop?
So I know this problem has been posted before, but I haven?t found a solid answer. When I drag music from a folder to iTunes, the green plus shows up but iTunes doesn?t do anything. It doesn?t import or even play the songs (when I double click them). I have write access to Music and Music/iTunes.
Whats wrong? It was working fine 24 hours ago.
How do I get my iTunes icon back to my desktop. I cannot find it and it is not in my trash.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy iTunes folder files keep on copying to the desktop. These files are iTunes library, Album artwork, etc.
I have tried to change the file location in iTunes preferences, but it still doesn't work. I had the folders in the correct place before in the music folder on my hardrive, but I tried to play another library that was on the desktop but now it keeps saving the itunes library files there. I have also tried to delete everything on the desktop and when I open itunes it automatically creates the same files on my desktop again. Â
I have created a ringtone and is held on my desktop, the instructions I have is too left click and hold to drag it back onto your iTunes program but when I do this it is not being displayed on my iTunes program. Is there a solution for the Drag And Drop function.
View 4 Replies View RelatedHaving just migrated from windows I'm still trying to get my head around downloading music movies etc from my back up discs I made from itunes. I've reinstalled itunes on my new MBP and afterwards it puts a blue movie and music folder on the desktop. I'm not sure what to do with these as they must contain the actual music and movies. before I deleted these folders and found that when I tried to access the music a window couldn't locate it. So I did a 2nd back up.

It's the weirdest thing. I can drag a few songs out onto the desktop, then it stops letting me. Only a restart fixes this temporarily.
If it is possible to import MP3 files from the desktop to the iTunes library and automatically convert them to AAC files? Right now I always have doubles after converting them into AAC files by hand with iTunes. There might be a short cut key to press while dragging the files to the iTunes library?

I have tried on both my Apple laptop and desktop to connect my iPhone to iTunes. The computers recognize it because it charges the phone. I have restarted both computers and iPhone.

I had to restore my library a while ago...no problem, dragged it onto the desktop, iTunes rebuilt it from the .xml file and everything was fine...only problem is now I'm trying to tidy up my desktop and those two pesky library files won't stay deleted from the desktop no matter how man times I trash them...Now, I understand the library file needs to update itself and all, but why can't it keep it's business confined to the iTunes folder?

I just moved my iTunes library from my laptop to my desktop. When I started itunes I noticed my applications had the name of the application but was missing the icon, i.e. showed an application icon and labeled below it was Pandora but was missing the Pandora icon. My music and movies were just fine. I right clicked on the file and selected get info. it returned "could not find original". I tried to sync and it deleted the applications from my iTouch. I see the application's icon when I bring up iTunes on my laptop.

I am running a clean install OS X, including my third-party applications, and this five-year-old machine has never run better. However, an anomaly has arisen. Whenever I push play (iTunes) my desktop picture disappears briefly, replaced by a neutral gray screen, before reappearing. As I write this, I quit and re-launched iTunes and the problem still exists. I am loathe to restart my computer as I am in the middle of some pressing business. I will check back if a restart resolves this issue, otherwise, feel free to comment.Â
With iTunes running, pushing Play starts the song and one-second later my desktop picture disappears briefly. Pushing the button (Pause) again stops the song but nothing else happens. Â I am currently listening to iTunes DJ and just now the O'Jays started playing and without my doing anything, the desktop picture disappeared and reappeared. I have iShowUHD and will make a recording of it, if it continues.Â

I just recently had an iTunes Unknown Error -3237 on my Windows Vista Desktop. My iPhone and iTouch doesn't appear in iTunes but show up in My Computer. I plugged it into my sisters Toshiba laptop and it is detected just fine. I plugged it into my MBP and it is detected fine as well. I don't know what the issue is for iTunes. I am running iTunes 8.1. My iPhone is synced with that computer and now I can't sync music to it in fear of losing the current ones I have on my phone. Also I get a iTunes Store error as well.
It won't let me onto the iTunes Store. It just comes up with an error saying there is a network issue to to check it. My internet is working fine but I can't figure out why iTunes is freaking out on me ~_~. iTunes Store works fine on my MBP and sister's laptop. My iPhone backups are all on that computer and same for my applications that aren't on my phone. I have tried reinstalling iTunes and it doesn't remedy the issue. I tried turning off iPod Services and starting it back up to no avail.
I want to know what little system utility apps people use that they couldn't imagine living without / they have gotten so used to them they can't work on other people's computers without!I will start with mine:SizeUp - Window management
Bowtie - iTunes desktop notifier / controller Growl - Desktop level system notificationsDockDodger - Ability to hide running applications from showing up in the dock1Password - Password manager that integrates beautifully with Safari/Firefox
USB Overdrive X - Allows setting of USB device buttons, such as a mouse button, to any shortcut.
