Whenever I try to sync my iphone 4S, the same thing happens. I get a message saying that I don't have enough storage. I'm not sure why as I don't have a lot of apps. I actually have enough storage in my ICLOUD account but it is not recognizing it even after I changed the settings to automatically back up it to ICLOUD.

Is there any way to permanently keep my iphone and iPad apps OFF of my macbook pro? Every time I connect, I ensure that "sync apps" is not checked, but then iTunes says I will lose my purchases if I don't transfer them over. This does not seem to be the case, however- aren't all of your app purchases automatically registered on iCloud? So I click transfer purchases, but this of course then puts EVERY APP onto my iTunes, which takes up a whopping 36GB of space. I can't afford to have that much space taken up! Should I just ignore the iTunes warning, or is there another way to ensure that iTunes doesn't keep these seemingly useless and HUGE backups on my macbook?

Strange problem just cropped up, Black Macbook, 10.5.8. The battery doesn't seem to be recognised by the laptop, but I'm typing on it now without the adapter. Before this it was still at 100% health with 50-60 cycles (around). Nothing else seems wrong, and when the adapter is plugged in it has the charging orange light and the laptop recognises it as a power source. Repaired permissions and restarted a couple of times, no change.

I have used an Iomega External HD (black series/800/firewire) for about 6 months, using it to load up with important files.
Now all of a sudden, it does get recognized by either my Mac G5 (OS X 10.4) or my MacBook Pro. In fact, I get the Disk Insertion (initialize/ignore/eject) window.
Why initialize, that will only wipe out all of my files on the HD.
Every time I install a blank CD (R or RW) the icon fails to show up on the desktop. I can use Toast, but cannot burn in the conventional way, because the CD is not recognized by my Mac Mini. I have reset PRAM/NVRAM but this has made no difference.

When I open my iCal on my Mac at work, and also on iCloud via the intertnet, I realized it's not synced up to my phone and items are missing. WiFi is on on the iPhone. I can see what I input on desktop/icloud in the phone, but not what's input on the phone in desktop/icloud online. It should all sync up automatically right? Also, how do you put music onto iCloud?

Just purchased my first Macbook ever! I'm catching on quickly however I've run into a snag with file sharing between my other Apple devices. How can I pair and send files between my MBA and iPhone 5s? I've made the change in system preferences to allow file sharing, yet still pops up on my iPhone that my MBA doesn't support this.Â
Also I've enabled Airdrop on both devices yet I can't seem to get that to work as well. I would love to be able to easily send pictures or documents from my MBA to my iPhone 5s via Airdrop and vice versa.Â

From within my local wireless network, I would like to be able to access individual space's screens from my laptop. Or at the very least, be able to easily work on a certain app/window on my desktop from my laptop.
I love my macbook pro - absolutely LOVE osx. But I am going to be building a windows desktop soon for gaming, photoshop, animation, etc. Can't afford a Mac Pro, so I don't have too much of an option. I put a new drive in the G5 & installed OS 10.5 (the G4 lap runs 10.4) and installed the apps from the original discs onto the new G5 drive. However, I am missing my Photoshop CS2 disc. My question is, how do I transfer Photoshop CS 2 from my laptop to the new G5 drive? I don't want to buy another $200 CS2 app.
