OS X :: How To Get Mail Icon On Iphone/imac?
Aug 23, 2009I will like to change the stamp icon for Mail on the dock of my Imac with the icon for mail from the iphone dock.
Is there a way to do this?

Find IPhone Icon On IMac
Apr 25, 2012re 'find my iPhone' app.The app works well to and from my iMac and iPhone4 and my newiPad.I have icons on home screens on iPhone and iPad named ' Find iPhone' and they work.On the iMac i can only find this icon via iCloud screen. I would like to see it on my desktop or even better in the Dock..The icon in iCloud will not click and drag to desktop/dock.

Dec 9, 2014Today I received a message on my iPhone but when I went to reply to it on my iMac the message did not appear even when I searched for it.Â
It also shows in my mail server's Webmail. This is very scary. How many other messages am I missing?

OS X :: Trying To Paste IPhone Style Glossy Icon As Folder
Feb 25, 2010I just bought a new Macbook Pro about three weeks ago and am loving it. I've been customizing a lot of my icons with no problems. Well, I Found a site that lets you upload a picture and it generates an iphone style glossy icon. I was able to download the .png file fine but when I paste it over the folder icon in the get info window, The icon completely disappears from the top left corner. The large icon in the bottom of "get info" is a black document looking icon. I believe that the generator uses transparent layers to create the generated icon and I wonder if this is why I'm having issue. BTW the iphone style icon generator is at this address:

Sep 21, 2010I had my iPhone/Mac set up(seems to have just worked this way, I didn't do anything specifically) this way previous to my hard drive failing last week. When I was out(Macbook Pro is closed at home), and I received e-mail(Gmail and Hotmail), my mail would come to my phone. Then, once I opened my Macbook Pro, and the messages came into my Mail.app inbox, they would disappear(read: delete) from my iPhone. Well, my HDD died last week, and now all of my messages stay on my phone as well as on my Mac, except they don't show up as unread on my Mac if they've been read by me on my iPhone. I want them to autodelete from my iPhone when theyre downloaded to my Mac.

Oct 16, 2010I'm using Outlook 2011 and decided to change its dock icon. Everything works great, but each time when I receive an e-mail and thus the dock email notification appears, the icon will switch back to the original Outlook icon. Only after I've checked my e-mail will the icon switch back to my custom icon again.
Is there a way to retain my custom icon even upon receiving the e-mail notification on the dock icon?
OS X :: Mail Icon Bounces - Not Opening
Nov 13, 2009When I log onto my MAIL icon it just bounces once and does not open. Same goes for Safari HOWEVER the Firefox, Excel, Word icons open. I have tried re-booting but no luck. As a back up I am using Entourage for my email but prefer to use MAIL, as well would like to use Safari again! What do I need to do to get these working again?

Nov 12, 2010I have switched email for the first time in 15 years, to a new provider. I finally got MacMail configured and got that working with the new servers, etc. Weird thing is that on my MacBook Pro, on the dock where the mail icon is, it says I have 4 unread emails, which is the same thing it says in my Inbox. However, no matter what I've tried, I can't find those unread e-mails, and therefore can't open them. I tried clearing out old emails, rebuilding mail, etc. to no avail. I can and have got other emails and had no trouble opening them. My outgoing mail is fine. I'm using Safari if that makes any difference.
