OS X Yosemite :: Unable To Sync IPhone version 8.1.1 With IMac Updated To 10.10.1
Dec 7, 2014
I am unable to sync my iPhone to my iMac The contacts, calendars etc are not syncing . Not sure what i have done that is incorrect .This will be the first time this phone is synced to this computer...
I am unable to add any songs to my iTunes. I have iTunes 12.0.1.26 and am running Yosemite 10.10.1. My iTunes is sourced to my external hard drive. Â
I tried mp3, Apple lossless and WAV files. I also tried downloading one of my purchased songs directly from the store. I get an error message of - 50 when I do the store download or try to drop any music file into my 'Instantly Add' folder. I cleared my caches and rebooted (3 times). I'm officially at a loss.Â
I am trying to sync my iPod Nano with my MacBook Pro. It now says that the file is missing and instantly ejects it.....any one got any suggestions for this? or how I can roll back my iTunes update as it is a waste of time if it is doing this!
I am unable to sync my i phone 4s with my iMac. I am unable to install snow leopard as I require an intel based Mac to do so but I have managed to install iTunes vs 9.2.1
I have an iMac 3.06GHz 1TB HD with 4GB RAM and a 17" MacBook Pro 2.4GZ and 4GB RAM both running OSX 10.5.3 and an individual Mobile Me account which used to be a .Mac account. I can no longer sync the iMac using Mobile Me. Syncing ius disabled and I can find no way to enable it. The Macbook Pro shows both computers as registered for syncing but the iMac shows neither. The Macbook Pro seems to have no problem with syncing, other than what I want to sync is on the iMac which will not sync. I have searched this nsite and the Apple site but can find no reference to why syncing is disabled on the iMac. It worked fine under .Mac Do you have any ideas please as this is beginning to get urgent.
iMac OS X version 10.9.4 showing Numbers '09 version 2.3. I installed Numbers version 3.2.2 on August 28, 2014. But Numbers will not permit me to open any documents in iCloud Numbers by a pop-up indicating I need the newer version of Numbers 3.2.2!!!!! When I go to AppStore to do so, it shows I installed it in August and will not permit me to get it.   Â
I also have an iPod with the latest version

The messages app on my Mac would work great with iMessages and SMS working, then today I had to update my apple id for security reasons and since then the messages app doesn't send sms anymore. Ive tried signing out and back in with the new password, restarting my computer, and even a few things in the settings of my iPhone 6+ and nothing seems to work. Some of my contacts that I can not message are tagged in red when they where not before I updated my apple id password
Subsequent to Yosemite or updates, my repeating calendar events can not be updated as before. When I update an event (of a repeating event) on my MacBook Pro; its reverts back when I shut it down and come back, and doesn't update other devices?Â
PlI plug in my iPhone to my Mac to sync. While in iTunes, I select my iPhone in the side bar and then I select Apps. Once in Apps, I organize my apps into tidy folders. For example, I put all of my airline apps into the same "Travel" folder. I do this to prevent having pages and pages of apps. After doing that, I press the "Sync" button to save the changes to the iPhone. The changes seem to stick. No problem.Â
I look on my iPhone and the changes are made. I unplug my iPhone and the changes are still there. However, when I plug in my iPhone to sync the following day, all of the apps are unorganized again. This has happened repeatedly for weeks. Not sure why. Some previous organizational changes I've made are OK. It seems the iPhone simply will not allow me to organize the last 7-10 apps I've added to my phone.Â
I have a Nokia N78 cellphone which I can sync to my Macbook Pro using iSync. This works fine for photos, iCal, contacts but I what I would like to do is to be able to back up and view my sms on my Mac. Does anybody know if there is anyway of achieving this (free if possible)? If not, can anybody recommend a phone (other than the obvious iPhone) that has this syncing capability with Macs? I am looking to update my phone soon anyway.
I am a MAC starter and I am only knowing the basics upon Snow Leopard what is running with Intel CPU in newer Deskops. Now I have the challenge with a friends G5 to upgrade her MAC's operating system: currently it is 10.4.11. Are there any newer versions I can use?Â
I can't print to my network computer after 10.6.3. I can however print using Parallels, but I can't print from say preview or any other OSX based software.
The printer is an HP 4200 Laser jet that I access through an ethernet on my work network. I'm the only Mac in the office and am getting ridiculed for not being able to print from OSX.I tried downloading the HP drivers and re installing them but no luck...
I can't update my iTunes to version 12.0.1. It downloads the update and when it's finish updating iTunes, the same update keeps appearing again and again. How i can ignore det update or receive the update properly ?
My MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012) is too slow after installing Yosemite version 10.10.1. All programs take for ever to load especially Safari and even chrome. I regret upgrading to yosemite, it was all fine with Maverick.
Info: MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)
I'm running 10.6.3 and I've been using connect360 to get media to my box for some time. Since the latest software update, I am now getting the (seemingly not uncommon) 'ports 1900 and/or 9335 in use' error.Scouring the internet, the more common fixes don't seem to help... I don't have any TwonkyMedia process, and turning off the OS X firewall doesn't help.

Can I use Mac OS 10.5.x successfully? Does this computer have what is needed? Out of ignorance and bravery, I have already loaded 10.5.x on my hard drive, and am having problems. So, I'm considering reinstalling my back up. Should I?
A couple of the problems I am having are: 1) logging in to the iTunes store (crashes), and 2) my scanner software also crashes.
I updated my system and am now having print problems. Where did the Library go? Did they do away with it? I found printer drivers in Applications. Do I have a corrupted system?
Using imac OSX. Had handbrake installed worked o.k till I downloaded latest version. Now it wont open. deleted from applications and secured empty trash. Downloaded it again still wont open. Icon appears in applications and nothing happens when you click on it.
