I am attempting to order multiple prints but as I order one picture the system immediately send (uploads) the order. I wish to include multiple pictures in one order. What is the process?

I have dragged them into the order in which I want them, with the one I almost always use at the top and my college one (which I prefer only to use for college business) at the bottom. But quite often they — spontaneously, it seems — move around and put themselves into an order that I do not like, with the result that I accidentally send messages from the wrong e-mail address. Why do they do this, and how can I stop them and fix them in place?

When I log in during the "order prints" sequence, it then pops up "Create a New Account" set of fields. I tried filling those out with my existing account info, then it gets into a continuous loop with the server, probably confused because I already have that account. I shut down Aperture and tried to order via iPhoto - no problem.

The Drive is partitioned at 500GB for Windows and 300GB for Mac.
In windows, I need to shrink the Windows drive, and then create 2 extra drives from it.
However, I can shrink the drive, but when I try to Format, it tells me that it cannot find the drive, and then it changes the drive types to all "Dynamic" including the Mac Drive.
And once this happens, I can no longer access the Mac drive during Boot, and windows will not load, as it cannot find the drive during windows boot up. And which point, I have to restore the system and it takes up to 6 hours to installed Lion, as my Internet is slowing that a cold winters day.Â
So, my question is the following.
How can I successfully shrink the drive.
Then Partition the FREE space
Then Format to NTFS without loosing drive type and integrity?Â

I have an Epson AcuLaser C2600 which I got some years ago and which has run fine on 10.3, 10.4 and until recently on 10.6. It has suddenly started printing second and later copies of a single page document about 3cm lower on the page than it should. It does the same on pages after the first page in multi-page documents. This does not always happen but does for much or even most of the time. This happens in various applications. Sometimes the printer shows a 'Check paper size' warning but does not stop.
Discussions with Epson have led to checking Print and Fax preferences, Page Set Up, Extended Printer Settings (all of which I'd done) and making some changes to the printer control panel connected to Paper Size and Auto Continue. The problem remains and discussions continue. It is worth commenting that something like this seems to have been an Epson issue for some time but the suggested solutions have not worked for me.
I have stuck on 10.6.7 because there seemed to be a number of printer issues with 10.6.8 and as everything was fine (and I like a quiet life). I have made no OS updates so it is hard to understand why this has suddenly started (unless it is a hardware issue). I recently installed Pages 4.1, the only other changes have been things like updating browsers (and adding a couple of extensions) and other applications.

I have a large dataset in Excel that I have to do a multiple find/replace in (changing USPS state abbreviations to their full names). In searching the Microsoft boards--I was directed to use Applescript, and even the documented help with Excel was recommeding this. I recently noticed that there was an application folder in my home folder (the folder with your username), but that application folder had been empty. I remember I used to be able to access to my applications from that folder, but not anymore.Â
Since the folder was empty, I deleted it before doing further research.Â
After deleting the empty application folder from the home folder, I looked up and some said the application folder in the home folder and the application folder in Macintosh HD are two different folders. I don't know what it means, but I would like to have an application folder with applications in my home folder. Is this possible? or should I just make an Alias folder and put it in my home folder?

I've noted that HP Laserjet 2550 will only take one job and then then the iMac will claim it is waiting for the printer to become available (forever). Unplugging/replugging the USB will not clear this though the driver does note that it is unplugged/replugged.Â
It seems like the printer doesn't know that the last job was done and thus holds off all other jobs.Â
The only way to take another job is to power-cycle the printer.Â
For years I had no trouble printing envelopes straight from Address book. But since I upgraded to Lion, when I print an envelope, it prints (1) the envelope just fine, but then also (2) a blank 8.5"x11" page. How do I get it to stop printing the extra page?

View 3 Replies View RelatedFairly simple, I've added an automatic contents page to my document, but I was hoping to have it use two columns instead of one to conserve space since none of the headings are especially wide. However, when I change the number of columns, it screws up the contents, whatever is used to space out the titles and the page numbers doesn't seem to adjust automatically.
I'm wondering if anyone knows a way to do this without manually entering the contents?
I have about 250GB of music in my iTunes Music folder, too much for any of my player devices with the exception of the computer itself. The "iTunes Music" folder is located on an external drive. I want to create multiple libraries to simplify syncing with individual devices, named something like "Nano silver 16", "classic 160", "iPhone", "iPad", etc. I know how to create the new libraries from info at: [URL] Questions:3) Is there a way to switch the "iTunes Music" folder to sort by album, (instead of by artist, then album, which lists each individual song of a compilation (Greatest Hits of...". "soundtrack", "duets..., etc. in separate folders with one song each). Royal pain! 2) How do I populate the individual libraries from my media folder once I have created them? I can't find any info to do this. Am I right that these just reference the real files, and don't duplicate them in a new location/folder? I don't want to increase the space taken up by new library files. 3) Where should all of the library files live to make it easy to find and switch from one to another? I have a problem with SOME of my albums in itunes. Some of them ( aprox 20%) are displaying the sogns within an album in an alphabetical order. I do not have "track" in the column header selected. I have tried selecting "track #"but this does not rectify the track names into the original album order. I can not manually enter the track number either in the "track #" field to manually rectify this as iTunes does not allow you do this. It is really frustrating that I have to listen to some of my albums in alpabetical song name order rather than the order the artist wanted me to. I've got a whole lot of music, 45 days worth, and I view it by date added and want to keep it that way for a number of reasons.
Problem is, when I want to play an album I have to click on the first track, then switch to album (or artist) display by the end of that track.
The other day I added an album by dragging it into iTunes in the Finder. I noticed that I could start and stop and advance and rewind tracks and it would go in order, from first to last track, even in Date Added mode, so it was visually moving up and down instead of from top to bottom.
Is there secretly a way to view in Date Added but have the next track be the next track on that album? Besides dragging the tracks into iTunes from the Finder I mean.
If anyone has a way to do this, it would seriously improve my life and I would be infinitely grateful.

I've enjoyed the gestures on the MacBook Pro with Lion OSX very cool. I've started to swipe left and right with three fingers to switch between desktops, very nice and quick. However, if I forget and "click" to one of the applications that has it's own desktop it changes my desktop order. Can I "fix" or "set" the desktop order? Example: Mail desktop 1, Safari desktop 2, Word Processor desktop 3, Calendar desktop 4, Contacts desktop 5?If I forget to swipe between desktops but instead click in the menu bar the order of the desktops changes. Can I "set" the desktop order so that it does not change?
