Aperture :: Won't Allow To Log In When Ordering Prints - Only Can Create New Account
Jun 24, 2014
When I log in during the "order prints" sequence, it then pops up "Create a New Account" set of fields. I tried filling those out with my existing account info, then it gets into a continuous loop with the server, probably confused because I already have that account. I shut down Aperture and tried to order via iPhoto - no problem.
When I go to a friend's blog and click on "Print," the "Create a New Tab Button" at the top of Safari goes gray and unusable. Usually, I have to Quit Safari and restart it, but today, after printing, the button returned to normal spontaneously
I am attempting to order multiple prints but as I order one picture the system immediately send (uploads) the order. I wish to include multiple pictures in one order. What is the process?
Working on a 2011 Macbook Pro with 10.7.3.I"ve setup many other macs with the same build and they all have created the mobile account when logging in for the first time, but this one will not allow the mobile account to get created.I'm connected to the line that gives me LAN access. I can log in with my own credencials and that works fine.I suspect it's the way the AD account is setup on the server but I'm not an admin for that. The same account sets up fine on a Windows box. Once I log in for the first time, it goes directly to the desktop. Basicly a local account but no user directory is created. With Fast User Switching turned on I see that it's showing someone elses name there, not the user that I logged in with. i.e. It should show 'joe jones' but it's showing 'fred smith'
Can't get screen grabs because there is no access. Can't show the FInder drives for the same reason, even if I go make the user an admin from a local admin account.I've seen some fixes in the forums but nothing works. I could just give in and create a local account an leave it at that, but that is not a fix
If I pre-order/pre-pay a new Macbook Pro (Retina) for pickup in the US, is it possible to get it fitted with a norwegian keyboard? When buying online I only see the options for English, Spanish and French keyboards.
I bought an used emac g4 and it has an account but i want to create a new account because i don't know the other's account password and im having problems downloading stuff from the internet.
Last December I ordered two books through iPhoto, and was very happy with them. Just tried to order another to ship to a friend in the USA and somehow iPhoto won't let me change the address to a US address, just gives me a list of European countries. I'm in England.

I bought an used EMac g4 and it has an account but I want to create a new account because I don't know the other's account password and I am having problems downloading stuff from the internet.
I am trying to create on my Macbook a mysql account but it doesnt allow it. I suspect it is the same one in the "/etc/passwd" file: _mysql:*:74:74:MySQL Server:/var/empty:/usr/bin/false I am curious though why in that same file I dont see my normal login account. Where is the 2nd list of users? Is it a plist file somewhere? Also anyone know of a utility that shows all the users including root and all the other special accounts in one place?
I bought this imac g3 about 4 months ago and thought that maybe it was time to put on some new apps. I go to do it and it says I can't because I'm not the admin. I have no install disks or anything. I looked through the files and found out it was from a high school before they retired it, must have been in the principles office as the 700mhz g3 is in great shape. So how do I create a new account and make it the admin?
Did an archive and install of Leopard then installed Snow Leopard. 90% of Video sites would not work. Uninstalled and reinstalled Flash. Uninstalled ShockWave, tried to reinstall received message could not reinstall with 10.6.1. Attempt to install adobe air, received this message: "couldn't write the application to hard drive - please verify and try again." performed verify disk, disk permissions, repair permissions all ok. Attempted to install Air again, same message.
Tried to use Time Machine to open Safari from a week ago, received message: I did not have permission. Using Macbook Pro, 2g memory, 80g hd, with 42g free. Backed up on ext. HD, One more, getting a lot of spinning wheels when using Safari that causes a lockup and hard re-start.
I have an expensive piece of software that uses adobe air and I create videos for my business and I'm not able to do so now. I just logged off of my admin account and logged on with a guest account. Video and flash seem to be working with the guess account. I didn't check adobe air or TM. How can I create a new account and move the important apps, files, docs, etc. that I need from the main account to the new one. Al of my business is setup on the mail account, emails, downloads etc.
Today is the day i'd like to create a new user account and transfer all my files to that account. The problem? i've never tried this before! I will need step by step instuctions please.
I want to split my iTunes account.Currently I share with my son and now I would like to take audiobooks and a few songs purchased to a new account but leave the rest for him. Is this possible?
In Messages, when i want to create a AIM account (like my other two Mac). I go to, Preferences, Internet account, add a other account, "Other messages account..." and click Continue. But in the next dialog box AIM is not visible (just Google Talk, Jabber and Yahoo are visible but not AIM !!) from the Account type drop down (in my two other Mac with exactly the same settings i can see one more menu in the drop down with AIM...) but not with my last computer.
Info: MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.4), Messages 8.0
Tried out the App Store today, it looks cool. Way cooler than expected, I actually like it. I decided to go on a downloading spree of FREE apps. Now I have an Apple ID, but I've never filled out the credit card info. I will not be using the App Store for anything paid, I don't want to put in my credit card info, is there any way I can create an account without giving Apple my CC details? Cons: seems pretty hopeless at detecting installed apps. Apparently I don't have GarageBand or Keynote installed. Ah well.
i cant creat an account and just use it to download free apps or wat?? do i have to give the credit card number because i dont want to give my credit card number.
I have the advantage of having my own server for mail at Media Temple. So I can create a number of account stemmed off my central domain. The problem iswith my limited knowledge of Apple Mail, I have to create an account for each one. Time consuming and somewhat unnecessary..What I would like to do is have an account that downloaded from the server more trhan one account:Â Example url...Can I do this in Apple Mail with one account?
Info: 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Macboo Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8), 4 GB RAM, GeForce 8600M GT
Mac Mini 10.4.11 1.5 GHz PowerPC G4 512 MB DDR SDRAM
I want to delete a previous account and create a new one. Unfortunately, when I go to System Preferences > Accounts, it is blank! It is completely empty, devoid of anything but a title that says Accounts. I have tried the following: Restarting; trying to access it on a different account; accessing Accounts through the help viewer, View menu, right-click on it's Dock icon, and through Spotlight search. In all cases, I get a blank Accounts screen. Also of note, the usually illuminated "Back" button on the upperleft isn't illuminated. All that's illuminated is the "Show All" button, which takes me back to System Preferences. I Verified Disk permissions. I tried to Verify Disk and discovered that it says it needs repair. This may or may not be the cause, but for now I can't use my Install CD because the drive is broken. (It keeps spitting out all CDs/DVDs I put in.)
I noticed that Aperture 3 is priced really, REALLY low on the Mac App Store. So I made the decision to buy it. But... I already have Aperture 2 installed. So what happens when I buy Aperture 3? Does it recognize that I have Aperture 2 installed, and upgrade it, or will it install Aperture 3 alongside Aperture 2?
