I've tried a few things mention on some other discussions; like removing ad ons and reseting but nothing has worked

My macbook air (13-inch, Mid 2011) crash's on key repeat in any text editor(reboot unexpectedly). This occurs after update to Mac osx Mavericks.

For myself and several others at our organization, Mail.app started crashing a couple of days ago whenever a message is opened and the sender's email address is in our Exchange Global Address Book. The question then is, how does Mail display or look up those addresses differently in the message reading window/pane rather than "external" email addresses?Â

I run OSX 10.4.11 on a G5 and quite often when I start up the text is fragmented in both applications and menus. In Safari the address has random letters missing. Everything runs OK I'm just worried something more serious is wrong.

System: clean install of 10.6
[B]Issues:[/B ]Safari has garbled menus/text and so does [URL]
Also the groups on the right in address book are garbled (the text looks out of place/corrupt ). The contacts look fine, it's just a couple group names, not all.
What i've tried: There are no duplicates in my font book. I repaired permissions. I've tried the demo of fontdoctor 7.6 but it says no errors, everything passed.
I'm completely stuck - anyone else have this problem?

Safari keeps changing the text field on input, do you know how to correct this issue?Â
Here is an example:
Let's say I load www.google.com, it appears in the safari window as usual.
Suppose I begin to type a search in the google search field at the top right of the safari window (not the one on the google page)
if when doing this the sentence is long for the search, at some point randomly, the rest of the text will be entered this time in the google search text field on the google page! (which is the very next text field) So when I hit enter it makes google search half of my request...
Safari changed the text field I was into with no warning. I want to say I do not press tab at any moment. This is annoying really, and this does not appear anywhere else than in Safari. It seems the issue is not systematic, but appears quite often.
I have no universal access setting except "enable access for assistive device" I had to check this box upon installing a software in the past but I can't remember what it was.Â

Text edit crashes every time I open it. By crash I mean stops responding when I add text and/or try to save the content. It "stops responding" EVERY TIME I try to use it.

I have a mac mini that has some software that is supposed to start at bootup, but does not always do so. In order to get the software running I need to open a terminal window and type some commands. Is it possible to just write a text file and turn it into a .command file that will not require me to write it out every time.Â
Here is exactly what I have to write in Terminal to get the program running again.Â
sudo su
filler14
ignition stop
ignition start
exit
Typing sudo su asks for the password which is filler14. After entering it I type ignition stop and it takes a second and it responds that it stopped. I type ignition start and it takes about 3 seconds and responds that it is running. I type exit to get out of sudo su and then exit again and it says operation complete, and then I close terminal.Â

My wife is blind and the address book with voiceover is a chore. it is easy to get around but to read the info under a card is a pain. I bought her a itouch for Christmas that will get around it better. but it would be good to have a simple txt or word doc type file on the desktop to look at. over the years she has a txt file with the info I put it all in her address book but the file is faster. but it is a mess too.

We are running OSX mavericks 10.9.4 which connects a network windows share on login.Â
I have see the share and navigate through its files fine however, if I try drag a file to the root of the share the green plus does not appear and I am unable to copy it. I am however, able to copy it to a sub folder within the same view.Â
Permissions are definitely correct and have the same permissions as the sub folders previously mentioned. If I go into a sub folder and back to the root, I am then able to copy the file as intended. It is based in an AD environment so these are all new users viewing the share from the MAC for the very first time.Â

Having installed Snow Leopard today on my macbook, I was keen to set up Mail, iCal and address book with my exchange account. However, when I use any of these apps to detect my account settings, it crashes the respective programs. Entourage web services manages to connect my accounts but I don't find it particularly user friendly. Has anyone had a similar experience? If I can't resolve this, is there a way to manually configure accounts in the new apps?

This began happening recently on my late 2011 MacBook Pro. Nothing new was added. I try to print a message and the application crashes. When I restart it, it's okay. Then it happens again, but only some of the time. Here's the error message. (I found the same error in another query to this community, but there were no answers.)

My mac mail application crashes right when it is opened. Currently I only have my iCloud email and my Gmail being used in Mail. I have narrowed it down to Gmail because it does not crash once that account is removed.

I use Mail on 10.9.3 with multiple IMAP accounts (but almost nothing the servers, all local in many folders). In the last days Mail started to crash several times a day, mostly when I interact with messages (replies, moving to folders, attachment stuff etc.) I am too fast for Mail - but that never was the case before and I have a fast machine and Internet connection.

start getting kernel panel in mavericks quite a few months agoended up taking to apple...diagnosed as hard drive issue, replaced hard-driveafter hard drive replaced, still getting kernel panics (various things including chrome)format and reinstall OS (Mavericks)took back to apple service provided, replaced hard-drive again.Upgraded to Yosemite however in mid 2010 iMac it really slowed things down. Had to take out third party ram because kept result in crashes that quickly lead to damaged sections on hard-drive so had to reintall OS. Only had 4Gb of original apple ram.due to sluggy performance of yosmite, recently (today) "downgraded" to mavericks.Install third party ram back into computer (now have 12 Gb)Experienced 2 kernal panics already. Can't work out what the issues isÂ
