What not sure what exact term is for the question box... but I'm trying to find out the keyboard shortcut to select the second option in a question box. [URL]. What's the keyboard shortcut to select "Add" rather than the highlighted "Don't Add?" Right arrow doesn't work, pressing "a" doesn't work, Tab doesn't work. What is it?
View 5 RepliesThe story so far: Using the bluetooth wizard I have connected to my nokia 5800 and am able to browse etc. Now I want to tether the nokia and share my 3g connection with my MBP when on the move, so I went into bluetooth->advanced-> share and I am here:(see screenshot). Now which options do I select to tether it? Unfortunately I don't see my phone model there, does that mean somethings wrong?
View 9 Replies View RelatedSo I was trying to install windows on my Imac using bootcamp, and everything seemed to be working fine. I put in my Windows CD and pressed continue, it then loaded me up to the windows installation page and it told me that I could not use the Bootcamp partition to put my windows OP on, because the partition needed to be NSF or something like that, so I highlighted the Bootcamp partition from the menu, and then clicked the partition button, after I had done that, it was then able to install windows on that partition. After the installation was complete, my Imac now only boots up the windows operating system without any option to what operating system to be booted. What do I do?

Last week I finally upgraded from 10.6 to 10.7, but now my Mac Pro (2008) won't boot properly. It'll start to boot with the gray screen and the Apple logo, but then the entire screen goes gray and it just locks up there.  However, if I reboot and hold down the Option key to bring up the list of bootable drives that works fine. I've checked my Startup Drive settings and the proper drive is selected. why it won't boot on it's own anymore? Holding down the Option key is getting old.Â

View 1 Replies View RelatedI ran my usual check on the mac drive via "Verify Disk" option. It came up with "needs repair"...etc., and told me to repair it. I did a command r during boot so I could do a repair, and the software told me "your mac drive seems to be ok"??? Some kind of glitch, or need I worry about it at all?

I have a few hundred books in my iTunes. Everytime I add more books they are by default added to all my devices. Is there a way to do a mass select or un-select in the book selection of iTunes. I normally only keep the current book I am reading on my device. You can select and un-selected in mass for the music just not the books which seems strange.Â

I bought a new mac mini in july. The second day I installed a genuine copy of vista 32 bit. To switch to vista I hold down the alt option key when the mac is starting up. In a few seconds a gray screen will show up with two options: Mac and Windows. Now about 5 separate times, the mac froze at this screen after I selected one of the two, usually or all the time I believe I selected windows. I waited but in the end I was forced to force shut down the mac.
Just recently I got rid of vista and installed Windows 7 ultimate 64bit and it just did it again at that screen.
Why is it doing this and is this really bad for my mac, I had no other choice.
Sometimes, my wireless mouse loses all connectivity and its wiped out from the iMac's paired devices.
So I need to re-pair it but I can't do it easily when my mouse is not working.
So how do I get to the bluetooth menu and then click on "Set up New Device" all with the keyboard?
I've learned to move the mouse arrow with my keypad but how do I access the menu and button directly with keyboard shortcuts?
Is it possible to select certain items to empty from the trash? Or do I have to empty the whole can. My trash can is getting up there in size but I really don't want to delete all of the items.

I don't know if is related to XCode/iPhone SDK or what. Sometimes, with no apparent reason, the menu of the application become FULL white.
Then in the emulator I get distortions in controls (the edit not show characters when input, but the control are getting it).
Also I lost the Command-Z in the xcode editor. Other glitches are around but I don't remember it right now.

View 6 Replies View RelatedRecently I plugged my HD Monitor to my MacBook and the resolution changed (on the external monitor). I went to Display Preferences but I do not get any resolutions above 1600x1200. When I first used this monitor, I could use it at 1920x1080 and now I simply can't. I don't know if it's a PRAM issue. I reset it but nothing changed.
I'm using a HP 2309m monitor in VGA mode using the VGA-Mini display port adapter. I use the monitor with a PC in DVI mode, but I never use these connection at the same time. I noticed something. When I first used this monitor, Mac identified it as HP 2309 when I opened the display preferences. Now, it only recognizes it as Display.
I can use command A to select all, and I can select multiple items with command and individually clicking each one, but not using Shift and clicking on the first and last items.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using Win 7 Home Edition 64 bit on an mid 2011 iMac via BootCamp; the problem is that i cannot select the 1600x900 screen resolution, as it is not available as an option at the Control Panel menu. I have reinstalled the windows support software, installed drivers directly from the ATI's site (both for desktop and notebook use) but the above resolution is not available. When i boot into Mac OS X, the 1600 x 900 resolution is available and is the one selected.

I have followed the steps for restoring my iTunes library from my Time Machine backup. When I go to choose the library (which I copied to my new computer), the file remains grey and can't be selected. I copied two companion files that had .itdb labels as well as the library file (all were from the most current backup and showed that I had opened them the last time I used my computer before it died). I could not find any .xml files related to this iTunes library (some of the help said there would be files like this as well). My old computer was running iTunes 10.6.1, same as my new computer. Suggestions?Â
