It seems that the Back to the Mac philosophy will not apply just to the Air but will go further on the other laptops series.
I definetely see the HDD disappear from the next gen of MacBooks to give space to the SSD cards.
So far all the MacBook can get up to 500GB HDD and the Pros have also the option up to 512GB SDD.
However even if this is quite predictable I would like to know your opinion on another matter: DVDs.
Will Apple gamble on removing the DVD drive or this could be too early?

Jun 5, 2009My old man and I bought 2.4 ghz alu macbooks at the same time. We both have 2gb of ram and would both like to upgrade to 4.
Would it be possible to purchase one set of crucial sticks and then simply take the 2gb original ram from his unit and replace it into mine, utilizing both matched crucial sticks in his computer? Giving us both 4gb.
The MB's were both purchased on the same date and are identical in spec.

May 20, 2012I have a MacBook Pro with Mac OS X 10.5.8. I have recently started having trouble staying connected to the internet via my wireless connection. I'm constantly getting disconnected from the internet - the AirPort status in the menu bar can have 4-5 bars, but I can still be dropped. When I click on the AirPort status in the menu bar, you can see the AirPort status going back and forth from "AirPort: On" to "AirPort: Scanning" continuously. It's very difficult to sign up for anything online when my connection keeps dropping. It's also very difficult to watch anything that's being streamed without it buffering all the time. I'm definitely technologically challenged, but it seems like it should be working and it seems like it should be a common sense kind of thing, but I'm not able to work it out on my own - my apple care has expired and I can get NO answers from Apple unless I want to pay for them.

May 14, 2012I just left my macbook into the Apple store Belfast after it has burnt my hand yet again the original time this occured they replaced the charger and the part the charger connects to along with the casing and logicboard it still seemed to run rather warm with minimal use on occasion but being a light user i just hoped it would get better unil recently it happaned again.I phoned AppleCare and sent them pictures of the two times where you could clearly see the outline of the charger burned into my hand they told me to bring it to the Apple store. The genius at the store informed me that they will need to keep it for a while in order to run some diagnostic test on the device. I beleive that the test will come back negitive as it can be tempermental I was just wondering what the likelyhood of Apple exchange it for a new one.

The email program download thousands of emails and now I am getting notifications non stop on the top right hand corner from years ago it is non stop notification for the emails from like 2007 really old emails. why it is notifying me of old emails I know it is new just downloaded in the program but it should only notify me of recent emails shouldn't it?
