May 14, 2012I have a Macbook Pro 2.7 GHz i7 that I purchased last Summer and I want to wirelessly connect it to my TV via Apple TV. I'm running the lastest OS X 10.7.3 I watched a couple youtube videos and those people had an icon next to the wifi signal that allowed them to choose "apple tv." I don't have that icon

Aug 12, 2009I have an old Blackberry which is horrible to type on and has an incredible battery life of 5 hours. So, I was wondering if there was some sort of way that I could connect the Blackberry to my Mac/iPod and text using Apple hardware, but transmit through the Blackberry. I don't have enough money to pay for the $100/month iPhone fee, so don't ask. If there is any App/widget/program for Mac or iPod which will allow me to do this, please recommend it to me. And it doesn't matter whether it is paid or free.

Jan 12, 2009Howdy all. I just inherited my first Mac, a 500 MHz dual boot ibook. I have put a legal (from a friend who no longer has it installed) copy of OSX 10.4 on it, but when I try to send the registration it says Apple is busy/or I couldn't connect to the internet. I am connected via a LAN and can browse and the like. I try to register by connecting via a modem and it connects, talks with Apple, thinks, and then says Apples is busy/or I couldn't connect to the internet. Am I doing something wrong? The machine is working fine, but I think I can't get updates until I register?

Jul 15, 2009First off, I am sure to be VERY computer challenged compared to most of you. I apologize for that in advance. Here is the problem. We have been a PC based family for years and years. We just started to go Mac. My son got an iMac and my wife an iTouch. We have a wireless internet network in the house. The wireless is set up w/ Lynksis (I don't know if that makes a difference for my question.) I have connected to this network with more than one computer and more than one laptop. I have never had a problem. My son's iMac (airport) picks up the network and seems to be connected but can't do any more. It cannot connect to the internet. My wife's iTouch is the same. Our PC based computer and laptop will connect though. My son's iMac DOES, however, occasionally connect to the internet using the neighbors VERY weak signal. My wife's iTouch will connect on other networks (i.e. Panera Bread's) so I kno that works as well.

I bought mine with my PowerMac G5 days before they switched to the Intel based Mac Pro's). My question to all of you is is there any kind of converter box or unit I can purchase that would let my 20" ACD display a picture encoded with Sony's "HDCP" signal?

Yes the password is correct.
Also i have another question, shortly i am going to purchase another MacBook but am i able to control multiple accounts on that without a server or knowing the password of each user?
