-Memory 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
I recently installed Mavericks OS X 10.9.3 (13D65) and now I'm unable to open iPhoto ..I tried to update from the App store but I am getting the following message..'This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled'. I have only ever had one Apple ID. I had the hard drive replaced 2 years ago at the Apple shop.

I tried to reinstall it with a .pkg but it's the same result...I can restore the application with the restore disk if I have to...But all the other iLife apps work...

Feb 2, 2010When i click on the iphoto icon in the dock it will not open for me to view or add any photos. The machine is an imac G4 OSX 10.2.8 with the original 125 ghz processor & 256mb memory. I have never had this problem before. It was purchased in 2003.

Apr 7, 2012Since a couple of days, I'm unable to open photo applications such as iPhoto, Aperture or FCE. I'm getting the same king of error report as below. I've tried all kind of solutions from the web but still no solution. I wonder if someone would have the missing file (Library not loaded: /System/Library/Frameworks/CoreText.framework/Versions/A/CoreText) and could send it to me? The whole folder CoreText.framework is even missing. I have a MacBook Pro 15" mid 2010.

OS X :: Unable To Open The Files / Link To ITunes,iPhoto, Folders Lost
May 5, 2009After opening Mac HD folder, made the mistake of attempting to change name next to house icon (Home? perhaps) along left spine (spine that includes 'Desktop' 'Documents' 'Applications' etc.). The computer started to run as if adjusting to the name change. From that point on, iphoto/tunes/aperture starting opening as if it was the first time asking for set-up preferences.
No photos/music can be found in the folders. I can still see my folders on the external hard drive that the tunes/photo are on, but they will not open when I open the programs. Any suggestions on fixing the links? I tried in vain to change the name back. The error message says that the previous name is already taken.

Jun 7, 2009I cannot open my iphoto because i am constantly receiving the message "the application quit unexpectedly" I have tried everything!!!!first & foremost I have archived & installed osx already 2 times.I have tried holding down the options key and building a new library..doesnt work.I have typed in fsck -fy and rebooted and rebuilt disk permissions.i cant seem to find the file .com.apple.iphoto etc its not in my preference folders to erase it

Sep 1, 2009I have experienced a problem after I updated to SL last night.I made a fresh install of both SL and iLife 09 on my mbp unibody late 2008.
Afterwards, I replaced the my fresh iphoto library simply with my old iphoto 09library from time machine (no migration tool, only copy pasts).
But now I recognized a problem that I see no iphoto library in my Desktop and Screensaver Menu in control panel. I cant set iphoto library photos as screensaver cause I cant see them
Does anyone have a solution for it? or does anybody face the same issue?

Jun 26, 2009I have used mac all my life but still seldom know what I am doing. I just got a new macbookpro and used migration assistant to transfer everything.
Most of my files, however, did not transfer, including my iphoto library.
When responses are posted to this question, they usually read something along the lines of "copy your iphoto library to so and so and import the library or click new album." I understand all that.
What I need to know is how to get the photos from my powerbookG4 to my new computer.
