MacBook Pro :: Doesn't Show Correct Colour Spectrum

I'm having trouble with my late 2013 13" MBPr display, it's displaying low colour spectrum, something like 16 bit colours. I took a photo of my screen right now, and it display something like this. As you can see the cat colour look really washed out and the spectrum doesn't look smooth at all.
Compare to this screen capture that I took (using ctrl-cmd-shift-4), you can see the cat colour is more "life" and the colour spectrum is smooth (I send the screenshot to my iPhone to make sure the screen capture have correct colours).
It's happen after I do an airplay mirroring using Apple TV that connected to HDMI to VGA adapter to my projector. I never do that before, as my apple tv usually connected to my TV.
This are what I already did after that thing happens: reset the NVRAM, try to reconfigure colour profile, restart my MBPr, and nothing happens. But when I try to mirroring either using airplay or direct hdmi connection, the display in other screen are perfectly normal while the display in my MBPr still washed out.

My 3yr old was playing a game and when she was done it appears that she was also playing with my Mactop. My spellcheck is not working right, it underlines the word but when I right click nothing happens. The folders on my desktop are all shrunk and I cannot find a way to make them bigger. Most of my Apps are gone from the doc, and when I put them back they are not there when I turn the computer back on. What did she do? Is there a way to 'lock' the computer when she is playinga game on it?

New to using Mac's... this is an older desktop but I haven't had any issues with it yet. I went on to use it and the colour was a yellow/orange looking colour and it changes the way pictures and text look on the computer. Is there a way I can troubleshoot this problem or is it something to do with the monitor itself?

I just switched to Mac from Windows. I'm using a current-model Mac Mini purchased in the US along with a bilingual Apple Bluetooth Hebrew/English keyboard purchased in Israel. The bilingual functions work perfectly for text; the only problem is that the Mac seems to think that I am using an English keyboard and the OS menus give me keyboard shortcuts for an English keyboard. Since the symbols on a USA keyboard don't exactly correspond to the symbols on my foreign keyboard, the keyboard shortcuts given in the mac menu are useless.

I have an annoying problem with application switching since I have upgraded to Mac OS Lion from Snow Leopard.Now switching between applications doesn't work as good as it was in Snow Leopard.
Right now I have Finder and Xcode opened. Xcode is assigned to only one specific Desktop and Finder is assigned to None. And when I am in Xcode for example and use Cmd-Tab to switch to Finder, it deactivates my current window, but doesn't move to the space with Finder or makes Finder active. Then, I press Cmd-Tab again, and it makes Finder active (My top panel controls show Finder now) but I still stay in the space with Xcode. And further switching doesn't do anything. So I then need to manually to click on the Finder icon in the Dock. And the same is vice versa when switching from Finder to Xcode.
If I switch by clicking the Finder Dock icon it then works in two steps: first time it deactivates current window, and after second click it moves to Finder Desktop and makes Finder active.
Another issue is with Safari when I am in Fullscreen mode and have also Activity window opened. If I am in Finder and switch with Cmd-Tab to Safari, it just shows me the Activity window in the same Desktop no matter how many times I Cmd-Tab. To switch to Main Safari window I need to click on the Dock icon.If I switch only by clicking the Dock icon, then I again need to click it twice.
Option for moving to space with selected application in Preference Pane is switched on and Automatically rearrangement of last used applications as well.

Bought an iMac the other day. Been a PC man since back in the day. The mac looks the bollox and I am slowly getting used to having one mouse button. My issue is apps that hang. I imported my photos from external HD (which needs formatting for mac) into iPhoto and this hung every time I opened it, cursor was a circle with spectrum colours spinning around. Copied photos onto machine and iPhoto ran more smoothly. However, I'm slightly concerned at the amount of times I've had to click "force quit" in the first week of mac ownership. Is this a regular "feature" in ownership of one of these? I never had to "end task" this much in my sweaty ancient PC that was on it's arse!

i own a mid 2010 i5 MacbookPro was purchased with applecare. When i checked warranty status a month ago it said apple extended coverage until august 6th 2013. Logged in today and it doesn't show applecare anymore :S anyone care to explain? now showing august 3rd 2010 coverage. I didn't even buy/register machine till 6th:S

I bought a WD 2TB external HD to upgrade my home network. It goes with a Belkin DB N600 (f9k1102) router, a MB, a PC laptop, 2 iphones, 2 ipods, and a new ipad. I created partition for 1.5TB formatted as mac os x (to match the HD on my MB) and .5TB as ms-dos fat (to allow some windows programs and games). I got that set up and when plug the USB in to my mac I see both formatted drives, but when I plug it into my router to access wirelessly it only shows the windows portion of the HD. I went to WD and then to Belkin where I found were it says that the router only supports FAT 16, FAT32, and NTFS. I'm I missing something? It sounds like Belkin products don't support mac os?

I'm trying to use iCloud and the instructions tell me to go to the Apple icon>system preferences>iCloud. This does not appear in my preferences. MobileMe does but says it's no longer available and to use iCloud. This is one big circle that gets me nowhere.

My external hard drive doesn't show up in finder.Time machine can't find it. Does this mean my external hard drive is dead?
I borrowed a friends and switched mine with hers. My acted the same way in her macbook. I switched the cords on the external drives, no change.
Also, Is there a way to retrieve the information from my sick external hard drive?

I'm not sure if it's called "Preview", the standard program for viewing pictures in Tiger. But when I open a .gif file with, for example 36 frames, it won't play the animation. I can select every frame but it won't play the whole animation. I already checked the Help menu, but it didn't work. I can drag the file to Safari, but that's not the way I want to view .gif files.

I accidentally removed my HD from under the Devices folder in Finder when I was trying to drag and drop songs into iTunes. I assume there must be an easy way to get it to show up there again, I just am not sure what that is. It got dragged into whatever folder I was in in Finder and just kinda poof it was gone...

I was at the genius bar today and was told to do a recovery of lion. To hold down option key while starting and then pick the recovery drive and follow instructions after a few hours it went back to the start of asking for my apple id info again the computer didnt ever show the progress bar moving i exited and atempted to start and just sat at the white apple screen and never moved i then have started the process again... How long should this take before seeing any progess on the progress bar? When computer does restart will it come up he usual log in screen or not?

I have an Intel-based system that I have already repartitioned to give me 40GB for OSX. I am using a disk by the name of "iAKTOAS" or something like that. I have already gone through Disk Utility to try and format my unused partition, but it doesn't show up.
-How can I partition that "free" partition in Windows XP?
-What program should I use to do this, preferably free?
-How is the MBR going to work? How should I set the system up to allow me to choose from XP or OSX?
-What else do I need to know about OSX "Journaled", "Extended", or just "OSX"?

I've used Seagate FreeAgent Pro 500 Gb. It has been divided into 2 partitions. one is used for time machine, another is used for keeping my important data. I think that the Finder should show both partitions on the left, but it shows only Time machine .
I regularly run software update. As I can remember, it has ever shown two partitions. I don't know whether this is related to software updating or not. If it is 'yes', how can I solve it?

I just got a new flash drive and it worked fine on my iMac yesterday, and now suddenly it no longer appears on the Desktop or anywhere else on the computer that I can find. But when I pulled it out of the USB drive, it said the device was not removed properly, so it must have recognized something was connected.
