I have a one year old MBP. A few minutes ago I installed the Thunderbolt Update that Apple released today. At the conclusion of the update, it said it had failed to install and that I needed to restart the Mac. On doing so, I got a kernel panic. And now every time I try to boot, I get a kernel panic.Â

I installed 10.7.3 (combo) from 10.7.2 yesterday on my Mac Mini and everything was smooth-ish, a bit of slowness here and there.Â
Today my Mac crashed completely, I couldn't Force Quit the app I was in, nothing. So I held down the power button and did a restart. After I did this, all I got was the grey apple with the spinning wheel for ages and ages, and then got a Kernel Panic screen.Â
I did what it said and restarted again. This time it just repeated and repeated the startup tone, and then going to kernel panic again.
I have tried everything I know of. P-RAM reset, Safe Boot, but nothing works.Â

Since 12th May when updated to 10.7.4 have at least one kernel panic per day sometimes four per day which means iMac i3 is useless for running a server platform. Multiple entries about this form may users is there a bug in OSX update? My recovery partition holds 10.7.2 any idea if this is bug prone as well?

I installed the 10.7.3 Combo Update yesterday on my iMac (Early 2009) that has a Wacom Cintiq 21UX connected. Prior to updating, my system was working absolutely fine, and I could turn the Cintiq's power on/off at anytime without concern. Now, my system is consistently crashing when I turn the Cintiq's power off/on. A pop-up window appears that reads: "You must restart your computer." Again, this was not an issue prior to the 10.7.3 Combo Update. If I wake my iMac from sleep mode, with the Cintiq turned off, my system will immediately crash when I turn the Cintiq's power on. Similarly, if I cold boot my system with the Cintiq off, and turn it on at anytime after the Mac login screen appears, my system will immediately crash.

I have recently upgraded from 10.4 to 10.5, everything has been fine apart from I now cannot seem to be able to download anything. When I click on a link to download, the page loads for a second and then gets stuck on a grey screen and the download window doesn't open. I have tried different browsers and all of my updates are current but still nothing.

I am trying to set up a HP PSC 2355 that is on the network shared from a pc. There are two macbooks that will be using it. They are both running 10.5 software and don't have snow leopard on them. The one set up and works fine, but the other I can't seem to get a good driver for when setting up the printer. The download from HPs site doesn't just have the driver, it's an entire package that you have to install. I found info on Apples site about a printer update :Mac OS X 10.5.3: Printer drivers included in the HP Printer Driver Update v1.1.1
which shows my printer as one of the ones that would be updated, but I can't find the link to download the update.Â

When I try to download it gives me Network Diagnostics problem although it is connected! The same error appears when trying to update either computer!

Every time I try to download it, it says error about 80mB into the download.
Then it tells me to look for the package through Finder but I can't find it.
And it happens EVERY TIME I try to download it.
It's driving me nuts that I'm wasting my precious internet on this pointless downloading! I could have had the update by now!

The OSX 10.5.5 Software Update won't download or install to my MacBookPro. The error message tells me that it can't be saved and that I 'do not have appropriate access privileges. The Installer package has been moved to the Trash. To try again, open the package from the Finder.'
The access privileges point is a bit odd as I am the owner and sole user of this MacBook. There is no sign of the Installer in the Trash so I can't get it from there.

I've been trying to download the new update for iTunes on my Macbook, its version 10.6 and I keep getting this message - The update iTunes cannot be installed, software update cant connect to the update server.Make sure you are connected to the internet and try again. Before the above message shows, it shows the downloading bar, with just Zero KB downloading, after a while it says the above message. My Internet connection is fine everything is working that uses the Internet in my house is working fine, Safari is working on my Macbook. It has been like this for the last few days now. Is this Apples problem with there server or a problem with my Macbook?.
