I get the error, The application could not be downloaded. The installation could not be started. However, my internet connection is fine. I tried deleting my safari, iTunes and app store caches to no effect.

When I try to download Lion, the download sign in window appears and is populated with someone else's Apple ID. If I change the ID to mine and use my password I get 2 messages: "We could not complete your request. There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later. (4)" Click OK and 2nd message: "Unknown Error" iTunes does not exhibit this, and normal sign in to App Store shows correct ID, only the Download Authentication does this. I have been able to update other Apps just fine, this requires a purchase, and is the only difference.

My Softward Update and App Store repeatedly "crash unexpectedly" (along with Dashboard, Finder and a whole host of other applications).
I have tried everything but it seems there is no way I can use either of them.
As a result, I haven't been able to update anything for months and my OSX is now thoroughly screwed up.
Is there any way I can update OSX without using Softward Update or App Store? Is there an update file I can download without having to go through them?

How do I get all my subscribed podcasts to download automatically at least once each hour? A couple of weeks ago following an iTunes update, iTunes stopped automatically downloading subcribed podcasts. There is no longer a "Refresh" button that directs iTunes to download newly available episodes. I am now having to refresh individual podcasts twith a right-click command menu item.

Working on an iMac 24in Intel that was working fine until my upgrade to Leopard. I originally had issues printing to my Phaser 7700 with the initial upgrade from Tiger to Leopard - but I was able to find an suitable workaround.
Now with the 10.5.7 update I cannot print AT ALL and tried everything from resetting the print queue to reinstalling the drivers. I have tried to print to some of the other printers in the office and I keep coming up with the same error: GenericClass: waiting for device Connecting.
I am using os 10.7.3 and a couple of weeks ago I found I can no longer download pdf files. Instead nothing happens or it try so open in a document viewer, for example: [URL].What do I do? Suddenly when I download files they say they're going to the Download folder but when I open the folder to retrieve (or clean out) old files, there's nothing visible. It appears the file is empty. I have no other option to choose from while downloading. They just automatically go to the folder. Yet the folder's empty.
What am I doing wrong? Where are the files? I do NOT have a Download folder in my deck. (Never have.)
How do I fix this? (I need to download files from work and many of them don't allow me to "Save" as.

After updating, seems that my iSight camera no longer functions. In iChat, the user on the other end had no video from me, nor did I have a preview. In Photo Booth I get nothing but a black screen. The green LED indicator still functions as if the camera was on, but no image at all. I tried zapping the PRAM and resetting the SMU or PMU as well, but with no luck. It acts as if it's functioning properly with the light activating and system profiler recognizes the iSight cam in USB devices.
