My office needs to be able to move email folders out of Outlook 2011 and into our documents to free up space.
We do however need to ensure that the emails are kept in date order when moved out of Outlook - is this possible?
So far, every time I've moved emails into a desktop folder the date created automatically changes to the date that I've moved the emails. Is there a way to retain the original date, aside from opening each email to check the date?

Is there any way of moving the dock maybe a quarter of an inch up from its current position? I am running Snow Leopard and the dock is positioned on the bottom.

I can move the files if I copy and paste them from one folder to the next, but that is incredibly laborious. After updating my Macbook to 10.10.1, My Windows 7 machine can't log in to the shared folders.

I restored my mac from time machine, downgrade from Mac OS X 10.10 to 10.9.3. After that the position of the input method selection box is not right. I am currently running low on disk space on my Macbook Pro and most of that is due to my large photo archive in Aperture. Right now I have my photos stored in 3 places: once on computer, once on a LaCie Disk with TimeMachine, and another time on another LaCie Disk with the Aperture Vault Backup.
So my question is, how do I move to only have my most recent and best photos on my computer and than the rest of my photos on the external hard drives.
I know there is probably some simple way, but right now I really don't know how to do it.
