my blue tooth keyboard and mouse have gone crazy there just acting up the mouse response differently the keyboard wont turn off the caps light , how can i trouble shoot my keyboard, i have changed the batteries

I've noticed that my caps lock light keeps blinking randomly. It usually happens in groups of blinks every 5 minutes or so. It started doing this after I upgraded to snow leopard. Why is it doing this?

This is for all of you with your shiny new macbooks. I've got a 1.83 version, and found out a little glitch. When I press caps lock (at the top of the button), the key actually pops out part way at the bottom until I press it again to go back into place.

I've recently joined/binded to our domain. All appears to be working as expected. Although one message keeps popping up in the finder at random moments. Doesn't seem related to anything that is being done at the time. It says Proxy authenication required. Authentication for HTTP proxy my.proxy.name  and has username and password to be filled in.Â
Where/what logs can be viewed to determine what program is wanting to get thru the proxy? I'm guessing it is an auto-update of something but I've turned everything off that I can find and it still is popping up. Hoping a log somewhere will tell me what is trying to gain access so I can turn off the attempt.Â
I was using my trusty powerbook 500 mhz and when i closed the screen while the machine was on, after @ 1/2 hour i opened the screen up and NOTHING!. i restarted and nothing again, the caps lock key will light up, so i am assuming the power supply is ok. No chime and black screen, any suggestions on what it might be...im thinking logic board, if so what ones will fit that model

The only way i can fix it is remove the batteries
Or disconnect and reconnect the keyboard by clicking on the bluetooth icon
So if apple is not going to fix this bluetooth bug im going to see if apple will refund my money so i can get a wired one.
My friends keyboard does this also and im fed up with this bs...
Why is the green light next to the iSight on? I am not using any programs that use the thing and the thing is on! It wasn't on like this before.

I have a 2008 Macbook and when the power is plugged in, the light is green, however my battery will not charge, and it even says at the top "battery is not charging" If I remove the power cord from the computer it will still run off the remaining % of the battery, but If I reconnect the cord it lights up green and I never see the amber charging color. I traded out my battery as well as a different cord and still the same results. My battery will charge up on a friends macbook, but not on my own. I want to take it to the apple store but I'm at school and there is no store near me.

I recently purchased a Mac Mini at the Apple store. I'm using an Apple bluetooth keyboard and trackpad. Problem is, when the mini goes to sleep, it won't wake back up. Nothing I can do apart from a hard restart by pressing the start button will wake the computer up. I don't know what to do to fix this. Is it something in settings?

I recently bought a replacement keyboard on ebay for my MBP and just installed it. It's been about a week, and just today, I noticed the capslock key doesn't work.. I'm not sure if it has been this way, or if it recently just stopped. The light doesn't come on at all.
I was curious if this was a common problem? If not, is their anything I can do as a substitute for caps lock? Another key perhaps? Or, a button on the task bar or something?
I have a Mac Mini from 2009. And it stands in my bedroom and is almost always on. So the led light is a bit annoying in front of the Mac Mini. Is there a way to turn this off when it's on?

I'm not new to Macs, I've owned a 20" iMac which I sold after 6 months, a 24" iMac which I sold after 9 months, and a 13.3" MBP which I returned after 7 days (I didn't like Mac OS X on the small screen; I'm not really sure why). I have been considering selling my PC and buying a Mac Mini, since I cannot really afford an iMac at this point in time. My concern is that the majority of Mini users I've seen on forums use it as a home theater solution, rather than as a desktop. I'm worried that I might find it to be slow compared to my current PC and the previous Macs I've owned (though the current specs seem to match the specs of the MBP I just returned). I don't do much on my computer besides web surfing, E-mail, browsing YouTube, and writing papers for my college classes. Does the mini work well as a desktop? Given the light nature of my use, would a Mini work well for me as a desktop, or should I hold off until I can afford an iMac?

My faithful and trusted Intel Mac mini 1.83 C2D that I bought new in December 2007 suddenly died during a major 10.6.3 update install. It almost completed the update and the screen went black and the light went off instantly. The power button doesn't respond at all. I had major work projects going on Sunday night when I took a break, quit all applications and did the software update and it died. I took it to the Apple Store Monday morning thinking it was the power supply. I was informed that the logic board is dead and my HD has to be wiped and OS X reinstalled. The repair would cost well over $300 and have a 90 day warranty with the same logic board installed that could fail again. Ironically enough, I had been thinking about buying another new Mac mini and a new Mac mini Server for work. That's not going to happen now. I left the Apple store with my new $600 paper weight for my desk. What would you do? This was a sad day in my faith in Apple products. Apple Mac mini lemon? if caps lock is off, shift of course makes the letter you hit capital. However, if caps lock is on, and you hit shift, the letter is capital, not lowercase. In Windows it would be lowercase. Is my MacBook acting how is should?
