I have this radio program I listen to, and I can record it using Audacity, but the sound quality is a little diminished but more importantly, it picks up background sounds. Is there anyway to record the actual live stream without using a microphone so that the recorded version doesn't have all that background noise??

Apple had one for their media event in September where they unveiled their new iPods but I can't remember how far in advance they announced that there'd be a stream. The stream quality for that was terrific, I hope they repeat this.
Software :: Trying To Listen To A Live Stream Through A Website Using Quicktime/flip 4 Mac?
Dec 2, 2006Just wondering if you can help me. I am trying to listen to a live stream through a website using quicktime/flip 4 mac. It seems to work fine, it loads the audio stream, plays the audio and the 'play position' curser moves along, but the problem is, when the play position curser reaches the end of the bar, it goes right back to the beginning where it started...
Is this a common problem? If so, does anyone know how I can change it? I've tried it in Safari and in Firefox and they both appear to do the same thing.

Jan 3, 2009I recently got a new Macbook Pro, and I am trying to record some gameplay footage of my online adventures in PS3 games to share with friends. I would like to record in preferably HD 720p if possible, but Standard Definition would be acceptable only if I can play the game in HD on my Television while it recorded in SD. My TV does not have any outputs, only input connections for component, composite, and HDMI.
I've done a lot of researching on the internet, and the closest thing I found to what I was looking for was the Hava HD Wireless. [URL] The problem is that it doesn't seem to say anywhere that it will work with a Mac. I was wondering if there is any Mac solution to my problem.
