Feb 12, 2012for the last few days my wi fi cuts out. If I go to the diagnostics it turns back on. It says that my network configurations have changed but then allows me to access it. But the next time I go to use it it has gone again.

Apr 30, 2012I am having internet connection issues with my MacBook Pro 2011 - running the latest version of Lion OSX. My connection cuts out regularly (every 10 - 15 minutes) despite having a full wifi signal. It is happening on two different routers, in two different locations with two different ISP's.Â
When I run Network Diagnostics ISP is the test that fails, but after a couple of seconds diagnostics fixes it until the next 10 - 15 minutes. The only other alternative is turning wifi off and on. Both of these only last for the 10 - 15 minutes before it cuts out again.Â
It is very frustrating and research online seems to indicate it is a Lion issue. I have made an appointment with a genius, but browsing online it appears there is no solution. It is not acceptable.

Apr 28, 2012how to get a Cricut Mini cutting machine set up on my Mac? It's plugged in, it's on, I downloaded the program for using the machine from the net, but my Mac doesn't seem to recognize that the machine is connected. It is supposed to be compatible with PC or Mac, and I thought I could just plug it in and it would be recognized as a new thing.

Feb 18, 2012The Wi-Fi keeps disconnecting (all networks), although they continue to be available on my iPhone, Mac Book Air (OS X Lion 10.7.3) and another PC. I have to reselect the network manually in the shortcut (top right of the screen), a few seconds later I am connected again. The problems seems to be related to inactivety on the iMac. For example if you are reading some pages, without any key strokes or mouse activity, but there does not seem to be any specific time for repeatability of the problem. It is just anoying. May 8, 2012My Lion OS 10.7.3 iMac just does not seem to be able to hold a stable connection with my home wifi network. After around ten minutes, sometimes more, sometimes less, usually when I've gotten up to do something else, the wifi is lost. It stays "connected" to the network (ie the wifi bars are black) but no internet comes through. Every time this happens, I turn WiFi off and reconnect and it fixes it every time, but it is still extremely inconvenient and troublesome to have to redo this constantly.

May 6, 2012I've iMac OS X Lion 10.7.3 latest version desktop. For couple of months, I'm dealing with dropping wifi connection during working. Every a few minutes, even during surfing though internet pages, wifi connection drops. When you look at the signal level etc.. everything is seems to be fine, but it is not possible to connect internet after close-open wifi. For a while, connection drop happens again.

Jun 28, 2012I upgraded to Lion after its release and ever since then my wifi has been driving me crazy. The wifi disconnects, and when I click on my network I get the error that the connection timed out. I'm always forced to turn the wifi off and then back on. It happened a ton, and consistently. It's extremely frustrating especially when I'm in the middle of a movie on my Apple TV and my iMac loses its internet and interrupts the show. Sometimes it happens three or more times during one show. So I decided to do a clean install of Lion. I made sure all my important documents were on my Hard Drive and even wrote a list out of every application that I use regularly. Then I completely reformatted my hard drive and did a clean install of Lion.

MacBook :: Safari Not Loading Websites Until I Click Stop Loading And Reload It?
Apr 1, 2010I am Having some issues with Safari (I am using 4.0.5), if I open up a website the screen stays white like it normally does for a sec to load a web page but the loading icon keeps spinning and spinning and spinning....... until I click the "X" stop icon and reload the web page. As soon as I click the reload icon the webpage loads up instantly, it is getting really annoying and would be great if anyone has a fix. This doesn't happen all the time, but it does happen frequently and then be fine for a few web pages and then start up again.

Intel Mac :: Ical Not Loading Calendars?
May 23, 2012I run 3 Macs (and an iPad and an iPhone). The Macs are 2 new (within last year) desktop iMacs and I have a Macbook Air. I synchronize calendars, contacts etc through iCloud and one calendar from my Exchange Server at work. All has worked great for months. Suddenly my desktop iMac at work won't load ANY calendars. Zero. Most of the options in the menus are shaded out too. The other two computers (and the two mobile devices) are all loading, synchronized and working fine. Â
To resolve this I have tried the following on the offending iMac:
-exit ICal, remove "com.apple.iCal.plist" and restarted
-reloading the iCloud account from scratch on the offending computer
-run the Disk utility (no issues) Â
Still nothing. Â
I have not loaded any updates or software between when it was working fine last week and when it decided to stop loading calendars sometime over the weekend. Â
Do I have to wipe the entire disk clean and reload everything? Â

Jun 13, 2012Safari won't load certain web pages at all and some times it won't load any. I have run all the updates that I can and there was a notification that some malware called "flashback" had been removed. I was hoping this was the end of the problem but nothing changed after that. I had the idea to throw away the safari application all together and load a new one but I can't get to a page where I can download the version of safari I'm currently running (5.0.6).Â

Why Does Macbook Pro Battery Keep Cutting Out
Jun 27, 2012A couple of weeks ago, my 2011 MAcbook Pro started to cut out for no reason when not plugged in, despite the battery life showing as 40-50% full. I originally thought nothing of it, as everything works fine when the machine is plugged in, but gradually this has become an issue. After researching online and trying various solutions (eg reset SMB), I checked out the battery status and it says Service battery, after just over 200 cycles. My Istat pro widget has battery health at 37%.Baring in mind I've had the machine for less than 13 months, it seems odd that the battery should depreciate so quickly. Is there anything I can do about this? I'm losing work through it cutting out so suddenly!Having checked it seems that I'm about 2 weeks outside my warranty, but if the battery is at fault I would still like to avoid having to pay for a repair/replacement if possible!

Aug 23, 2014I have a library of high end clip art and photography from Liquid Library 2003/2004. I've never had any problems using them with my system yet yesterday my iMac spit all of them without loading them. I even cleaned them and tried again. They still would not load. There is nothing on the CDs that should conflict, they are just jpegs, illustrations and photos created for using with high end graphics. Is there a reason this happened suddenly?Â
