I'm thinking of buying a Dell mouse. They're just ones that I've used many times before and I like the feel of compared to my current mighty mouse. I wanted to know whether a mouse like this would work on my imac with leopard. Will all of the buttons work correctly or will I have to download a driver that complicates things?

View 16 Replies View RelatedI want to add 1GB of RAM to my powerbook G4, 1.67 GHz. It is currently running on DDR2 PC2-4200S-444 (1GB) so the other slot is empty. Someone locally happens to be selling "a set of matching 1GB PC2-4200 (DDR2-533) SODIMM RAM, pulled from a working Dell Inspiron 640". Would they work on my powerbook? Or coming from PC, they are not going to?

The 2407WFP is a couple of years old now I guess, but it's the rev A04 version, which supposedly fixed the (few) problems with what was otherwise meant to be a great screen. It's an sPVA screen.
I've heard good reviews of the G2410, with its LED backlighting. It's still a TN panel and I hear so much bad stuff about them.
The 2209WA is an eIPS panel which I like the sound of, but it's smaller and lower resolution.
The F2380 is a cPVA panel, the image quality looks better but I've heard bad things about blacks on this panel.
� really want a new Mac Mini and currenly have a Dell monitor from an older PC. Will this Dell monitor work perfectly with the Mini?

I can't seem to find the right adaptor to connect the two.I need a dvi port converter that also connects to my vga on my laptop (so need the male end of hte vga since my laptop has the female end).I only found 1 adaptor but it ends with a dvi on a vga. I don't have hdmi on my laptop either--tried that adaptor as well when I couldn't see on the pic when I ordered that it was hdmi not usb). Please help. I have read so many blogs that say it can be done.

I'm using an old mighty mouse on at the moment, however, I'm fed up of it being rubbish. The scroll wheel died moments after this things was out of the box. What I'm wondering, will a microsoft mouse work just as well? In terms of sensitivity etc? Does anyone use this set up?
Just looking for a cheap gaming mouse seeing as I'm using my Mac for gaming more often than I used to! Will it work?

Anyway, I wanted to try to get some function out of it seeing as I'm a Linux guy and a windows guy, Apple is something new to play with.My mouse no longer works with the Mac and I don't know why and for the life of me with all my experience with Win. and Linux I can't fix it. I have two that I've tried, both of them were Microsoft mouses that had worked previously but then one day they stopped. I can move around with the keyboard but the mouse is a no go. Does anyone know what I might have done to screw up a perfectly functioning mouse? I know they are connected correctly because when I plug it into the USB port the laser light comes on, problem is the cursor in the screen doesn't move.

View 24 Replies View RelatedI have a microsoft bluetooth notebook mouse 5000 that works well in mac osx but when I go to windows 7 in bootcamp it reports that the bluetooth hid device driver is not working and the mouse won't work.
I can get it to detect the mouse and try to load the driver but then it says that the driver installation did not work.
In device manager the bluetooth hid device has a warning icon next to it and it says that the device is not working.
When I try to use my magic mouse in windows the same error happens and it says that the hid bluetooth device driver is not working.
Both mice work fine in mac osx and the microsoft mouse was working ok in windows until last week.
Since then, my son installed a couple of games in the windows side and the mouse started acting up the following day.
I am finding the trackpad to be a little clumbsy. I'm thinking of buying a Mighty mouse.

When I go to mouse in system preferences, there is no option to set up right click or secondary click. I am on OS X 10.7.2.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have just installed a new Mac Pro. Everything works except I get occasional mouse pointer freezes. They last for about 1 second each time and seem to occur randomly, on average with 1-2 min intervals.
The only things I have installed on top of OS X so far driver wise is MouseWorks to power my Kensington trackball. I use my older large full-keyed white Pro keyboard and only use the smaller wireless one remotely. I have tried deactivating Bluetooth but the mouse freezes still persist.
Because that would make or break the purchase for me, if the USB cable is still as small as it is.
View 4 Replies View Related really really need your help people!!!so i started up my computer today and the keyboard and mouse wont work. tried all the remedies to make them work and some have said reinstalling mac os dvd's solved the problem..... however without any keyboard or mouse how do install them?i put the os dvd in the computer but i cant click or do anything to make it start so how i do install the os dvd's in this case..... and oh btw... even in safe mode the keyboard neither the mouse work....

After I upgraded even though the mouse is recognized by the Logitech Control Center software, the mouse does not work, as in moving the mouse does not cause the mouse pointer to move.
I use a MacBook Pro. Anybody has the same experience?
I've had issues with this before but now I can't seem to get the scroll button to work for any longer than 10 minutes or so. I have used clean cloth or mousepad to work button so that it works and used spray can air to clean out still...only works for a short time before it stops scrolling up or down. If anyone else has had this issue and solved it, can you let me know how to fix mine? I am feeling like this thing is a piece of junk right now.

Cause i cant be bothered to pay like 50 quid for a wireless apple keyboard, i was wondering if any of these cheap ones you see (liek this, for example now i know the function buttons may not work, but i dont care. Can anyone tell me if something liek this would work, or would it have to be mac made? Like say 'mac compatible' or whatever... but i thought they might not put mac compatible on a keyboard like that cause not all the functions on it will work.

I just got a Magic Mouse. It works perfectly in OS X, but when I boot into Windows XP, it doesn't work at all. I read that the Bluetooth Update 1.0 is for the new iMacs only. But I read that others got the mouse working, just without the scrolling.
