Am I correct in noticing that when I watch some video content within iTunes now I can't resize it without first "Open Video in New Window" ?
The only view option I get when the video is constrained within iTunes is Full Screen, all other options are greyed out. I don't want all my video automatically resized to max my iTunes window.
If so, that's a bit of a pain.
Simple question I have downloaded a few seasons of Southpark and other tv shows in hd how do I burn them to a dvd or get them to be able to play on my ps3. I have vista home premium 64 bit and can't get it to stream through tversity. I do not want to buy an appletv I just want my shows to play on my tv in hd and not have to hook up my ipod. Is there a way around the drm or whatever is stopping me to get the job done.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI never noticed this on my last hp laptop but my new dell almost everything in itunes plays with the audio out of sync with the video. most noticeable on podcasts. my dell is not high end but it has duel core amd 64 4400 chips 2 gigs of ram. running xp. it has a built in nvidia geforce 6150l video card with a built in sound card. it has done this since I got it a month ago. it is not an issue playing dvd's in windows media player. just itunes. any clues?

However, got one, quite a basic one that is doing my head in.
Most applications I can resize the window, however, on itunes, when it opens, the corner that you would normally use to resize is obscured by the tool bar thing along the bottom (sorry, cant recall the name, is it the dashboard?) anyway - have tried moving this dashboard, but still cant get to the corner I need - when you minimize, it just goes to a very small box.
I know its something very simple, but cant find the right thing to do.
Other than Itunes 9.1 breaking outlook syncing on my ipod touch, I cannot close a video when it is running. The X with a circle around it does not close the video anymore. I have to hit escape every time. A reinstall also did not help.

View 4 Replies View RelatedRecently I decided it'd be fun to put together a movie and while I've slowly been getting used to IMovie HD (first time using it 'properly'), I still haven't been able to "master" it yet. I was wondering whether it's possible to resize some of the clips I have? Some of the clips are different sizes and my intention is to publish the movie on something like YouTube or similar. I don't know if YouTube does this automatically? I don't remember it like that.
I don't want to have varying sizes of the clips when I send it to my friends, either, so. Can I resize the clips so they're all the same size? Can I do that in iMovie HD, or anything else on my Mac? Or do I have to download another piece of software to do this? Also, I'm not looking to spend any money on a professional editing program so please bear that in mind. The movies are in Quicktime MPEG-4 format if that's helpful.

When I tried to view one of the movies, quicktime opened with this message: "QuickTime Player is not authorized to play “Clara's Heart.m4v”. In order to play this content, please open it with iTunes" So, I tried to open with iTunes, and discovered that I couldn't.

I have an iMac 17" G5 1.6 intel with 2 Gb of RAM. I can watch videos with no problem unless I try to watch one online such as Youtube or something like a video on Fox news. I have a highspeed cable modem hookup through Cox Cable. I have tried switching between the airPort and direct ethernet hookup but is makes no difference. I don't have this problem with my MacBook Pro.

The problem is I don't think it's working. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it. And whenever I try to watch videos on my Veoh TV it says I need to install Perian.
I just bought my mac and was previously using a PC so I am still new to the Mac and am unsure if I installed it wrong or something.
I've takes some videos with my digital camera. When I connect it to my Mac, iPhoto opens up and imports them, and I have all the videos in their own event.
When I open up iMovie 08 to edit these clips, they do not show up in the event library under iPhoto videos.
Running Win 7 Ultimate 64-Bit and OS X 10.6.5. Winclone version is 2.2. I attempted to enlarge my Bootcamp Windows partition (deleted, resized to full, and then resized again with Bootcamp Assistant). I've made several attempts without any success. I have two Winclone images (11/2010 & 1/2011). The latest image doesn't even get started good before I get an error about 2 bad sectors and the one from last year runs all the way through and gives an error at the end. I ran disk repair on the complete partition before rezizing back to bootcamp and it still didn't work. I managed to get a win 7 repair disk to run one time and ran chkdsk on the bootcamp partition that returned no errors. I thought I might be able to install Win 7 fresh and then do a restore from a Windows system image that I have, but I can't get my Windows 7 disk to work when using the Bootcamp Assistant (I get a boot screen with two options (1. & 2. with nothing else visible) at the install point of the process and can't go past there).

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a 2011 Mac Mini running the latest version of Mac OS-X and iTunes, output to a Samsung D6530 Television and for some reason I can't seem to play HD movie or TV show content purchased through iTunes. 99% of the time I don't get any error message at all, just a scrambled signa (sound is fine)l however, the one time an error message did appear it suggested the TV did not support HDCP (High Def Content Protection). Looking at the documentation that came with the TV it does support HDCP so I can't figure out why it doesn't work.

I can't believe I'm even posting this question. I just opened iTunes and the window is so big the bottom is cut off so I can't resize the window from the bottom right-hand corner. Clicking the minus just gives me the player controls and "x" of course closes it. The "+" gives me just the player controls. I just want to resize the window so it's say, 1/4 my screen. How do I resize the window when I can't see the bottom corner?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI bought an SD version of a movie in iTunes. I own a Blu-Ray of the same movie. I then ripped the Blu-Ray to a 720p version. I used Subler to mark it as HD, and I made all the tags the same as the SD version. But, when I add it to itunes, the two don't combine into one listing in the movies section. Have a 1TB internal Drive with 1 Partition (extended Journal), not a boot drive this is just for data, now want to add another partition (2 Volumes), in effect shrinking the size of the original so I have 2 equal sizes.
So Far I have used 450GB, so there should be enough room to do this right? Although when I go through the process, I get the message 'not enough space on drive'.
