Jun 24, 2010I found out something interesting that brings back two years. Remember that old iPhone, the one that came out on June 2007. Well I think his accessories will save us some money for this new iPhone 4. I went inside my garage and found my old iPhone dock that Apple provided with the original iPhone. I said ?hey maybe this dock will fit the new phone.? And it did EXACTLY what I predicted. The new iPhone 4 dock FITS in the old original iPhone dock. I just saved myself $30 for a new dock!

Oct 10, 2010I have absolutely had it with this horrible POS program. I don't think they could have made itunes any more complicated for syncing apps and music. The second you want to change something it has to delete everything and resync it. All of a sudden I cant delete my own f**#ing music from my iphone with itunes? I go and right click my library and there is no remove option, nor do I see anywhere else where I can do that. I've had it with this frustrating steaming POS. Everytime I plug in my iphone it has to go through some stupid process that takes forever when all I want to do is sync one f$*(ing song, and if i make any sort of change it has to delete every little thing.

Sep 18, 2010the only solution i've found that works is i have to re download itunes everytime to make the restore or upgrading my iphone work, i've tryed the recovery mode and the dfu mode itunes just sits there after the final loading process, so my question is is there a way i can get it working back to normal without having to re downloading itunes.

Aug 2, 2008Ever since iTunes 7.7 and iPhone 2.0, podcasts aren't syncing properly. I have mine set so only those that's never been listened to before gets synced to the iPhone. Since the updates, this sync has been inconsistent. Sometimes, it behaves as expected, but other times, podcasts that I've listened to on the iPhone retains the blue dot on iTunes after a sync. Thus, the podcast is also labeled "new" again on the iPhone after the sync. Not sure if iTunes 7.7 or the iPhone 2.0 update caused this since they both came out around the same time. iTunes 7.7.1 is installed and still the same inconsistent behavior. Anyone with non touch iPods seeing this? Trying to figure out if it's an iPhone/touch issue or an iTunes issue.

Jun 8, 2009I have an iMac that is my main computer. I download all of my music from iTunes on that computer and update my iPhone through that computer. I also have a MacBook that I use while traveling. Is it possible to sync the iPhone to the MacBook and update the MacBook with whatever is on the iPhone (and not update the iPhone with what is on the MacBook)? The MacBook is not updated (iTunes wise) and I don't want to erase what is on my iPhone. However if I could do the reverse of this then that would be better, that way I can download songs to my iPhone as well as my iPod to update for my vehicle. If this isn't possible, is there any way to somehow get what music is on the iPhone to my iPod so I can play it in my vehicle?

Nov 16, 2009Basically somehow my iTunes got jacked up.. just the music part of it.. Anyway, they are all songs from my CDs or mp3's, but just as a failsafe, I would like to backup my entire iTunes library to my external hdd.
I would then like to delete all the songs from my iTunes, and from my iPhone. *edit* figure'd out how to remove all the songs from my iphone.. just unchecked all songs and sync'd.. now I just need to backup itunes and delete everything from it, then reput what I want back into itunes and resync.. sweet
After which, I would like to rebuild my iTunes library using my mp3's and CD's and basically start from scratch.. so that this time around I can properly name songs/albums/artwork/etc
Then I want to take this new iTunes library, and fill my iPhone back up with my new Library in Itunes..
so basically I just want to backup my itunes just incase for some reason I cannot find a particular CD or mp3 in my collection.
Just for the record, I am using a Mac Mini running Snow Leopard 10.6.2, and I have an iPhone 3GS 32GB running the latest 3.1.2 firmware (jailbroken using blackra1n rc3)

Dec 9, 2010Firstly, everything on my Mac is updated and in good order. Other websites work fine.
What happens is that when I'm viewing my Facebook news feed and start scrolling down the page (it then automatically loads new posts) my news feed "jumps". In other words, in doesnt keep in order and it jumbles me up back to stuff I've read.
In other words, somehow, loading the new posts causes my Safari to forget where I am on the page and take me somewhere else. Has anyone else experienced this?
