Apr 11, 2008I'm having trouble with Sing that Itune; it's finding lyrics for fewer and fewer songs. Which one is your favorite? I want one that automatically displays lyrics and saves them in Itunes if they aren't there already, but if I already have lyrics I don't want it saving over them.

Dec 28, 2009while i was playing my music on my iphone, and reading the lyrics. i noticed some of the words were wrong or missing. i decided when i get on my mac, ill open itunes and fix the lyrics. then re-sync my iphone. now when i play the song that was fixed, the lyrics dont show up. it just says loading.

Jun 22, 2009I know there's plenty of lyrics widgets out there, but they all search databases for lyrics. Most are terrible, plenty incomplete and of course lacking in my foreign language songs. But that aside, I don't want ones from the 'net. I want a widget to just display the lyrics I've embedded in the MP3 tags via iTunes. One would think that'd be easier than having something fetch and format something from the Internet, yet I've never found a widget that does what I want. All it needs to do is display the lyrics of the current playing song in iTunes, from the file itself. No frills, nothing fancy. Wouldn't even care if it showed the album art or not. I'd make it myself, but I'm not exactly a programmer.

Nov 15, 2009how to not have the disc image appear on my desktop when I open applications that I downloaded. For example I downloaded wondershare dvd ripper and everytime I open it the disc image shows up on my desktop and I cant eject it without quitting the application. Aug 17, 2010My dad was saving a bunch of Word docs on his Mac - he had one large file that he split up into twenty-some smaller files, which he then saved onto both his desktop and on a flash drive. Somehow along the way (neither he nor I had any clue how) but 4 of those files saved as an alias that point to nowhere. In other words, I can't find the originals anywhere on his computer or flash drives.
Even stranger is that one of those files aliased to the Applications folder. Keep in mind these are all supposed to be word documents. They all still end with .doc, but their type is an alias. I have no clue how they were created as an alias, but they were. It's probably a longshot without knowing where the original is located, but do any of you guys know how to possibly retrieve this?
MacBook :: Applications Installed Correctly But Not Showing In Applications Folder?
Mar 12, 2012I have a friends MacBook running 10.6.8 2.26Ghz Intel Core Duo 8 gig ram. I have installed UnrarX a couple of times with no errors in the installation process, however the application does not appear in the applications folder or any where else and cannot find it to open .rar files.
I fixed the issue by simply copying the UnrarX app from my MacBookPro but would like to find out what is going on. I have been told by my friend that she has had this issue before.
