Applications :: Cannot Upload Photos To Facebook - Server Not Found
Jan 18, 2010I have been having problems with facebook for a week now. I cant upload photos to facebook. I finally was able to get the uploader screen to generate but now I cant select anything to attempt to upload. When I use the simple uploader I get the error: Firefox can't find the server at [URL]. I have snow leopard osx and I am using the newest firefox.

Jan 18, 2010Not sure what the deal is, but whenever I attempt to use the built in facebook uploader to upload some photos to facebook, I get error messages. Kinda defeats the purpose of having a built in facebook uploader if i have to export to desktop and use Facebook's tools.

Jan 28, 2009I am very disappointed to find that iPhoto only uploads photos to Facebook & Flickr in complete sets. I was really looking forward to this feature as I use both websites regularly, and assumed I would be able to upload just one picture, and choose what album I would add that photo to online. But no, iPhoto needs me to have an entirely new Flickr album matching an entire iPhoto event.

Mar 10, 2010I had used a separate FTP client until '09 came out but I have been having problems lately getting iWeb to connect. Can anyone suggest a good FTP client? Preferably free. The one I used before, you just dragged the folder onto the icon on the dock and it took it from there.

Jan 28, 2009When I try to upload photos to Facebook I get the "Set Up" window. I log in to my account and once it is on it tells me to close the window and go back to the application, but then it will ask me again to "Set Up" the account. It will continue doing this forever.

Jul 5, 2008I seem to have some problems with Java. For instance, when trying to upload photos in Facebook, the java "thing" won't work. It's no longer asking me if I trust the certificate. This has happened on other websites as well.
I have tried to go in to Java webstart in Utilites and when it opens I am getting these messages:
"java.security.PrivilagesActionException: java.io.IOException: permission denied"
"java.lang.NullPointerException"
I'm not quite sure what all this means and to be honest I'm not really sure "what" java actually is (is embarrassed).

Feb 4, 2012I currently have iPhoto '09 version 8.1.2. I tried uploading pictures from iPhoto to Facebook but I get the message "An error has occured. Please try again later". File > Export > Login (which brings me to the Login page on Facebook) > I sign in & that's when I get the message. I've even tried hitting the Facebook tab on the bottom right. Does anyone have any solutions to my problem?

Now that I have upgraded to Mavericks I am being told that this is only possible using iCloud or Face (Aperture). I do not store my photos on iCloud and have no intention whatsoever of doing so. Is there a way around this or do we need to tell Apple that this needs to be restored.

I have the original 20' apple cinema display, but I am looking for a higher res display and I really don''t want to spend that much dough as I am in the process of upgrading photo/video equipment.I know the differences in quality between TN screens, and high quality IPS screens.
Would a 1920x1080 res suffice. I really don't want to spend more than 300 bucks. I know I may sound like an noob but please what are the cheapest highest quality/res for the price.

Dec 22, 2008It never did this with Netscape or Firefox, and from what I've heard, it doesn't do it with my friend, who uses Safari all the time. I have Safari set up so it automatically fills in forms AND accepts cookies from any site, and it STILL logs me out suddenly in about a minute. How can I keep myself logged in all the time, like it's SUPPOSED to?
