View 11 RepliesEvery time i remember a part of a song and cant remember its name! its so frustrating that apple doesnt include lyrics search in its search bar! Is there an application that searches the lyrics inside my songs that i put in itunes?!
I really want to get a good add-on or widget that will download lyrics to iTunes and put it in the Song Info.
View 3 Replies View RelatedLooking for an OS X app that will add lyrics to my iTunes songs. I've tried the "Sing that iTune" widget, which will do it as you listen to a song, but you have to listen to each song individually.
View 24 Replies View RelatedI'm looking for a program that will go through my entire itunes library and update album art and lyrics. Is there a program that can do this for mac?
View 5 Replies View RelatedSo there's the Sing That iTune! widget, which got me thinking. is there a tool that can automatically add lyrics to songs in iTunes?
View 17 Replies View RelatedI know there's plenty of lyrics widgets out there, but they all search databases for lyrics. Most are terrible, plenty incomplete and of course lacking in my foreign language songs. But that aside, I don't want ones from the 'net. I want a widget to just display the lyrics I've embedded in the MP3 tags via iTunes. One would think that'd be easier than having something fetch and format something from the Internet, yet I've never found a widget that does what I want. All it needs to do is display the lyrics of the current playing song in iTunes, from the file itself. No frills, nothing fancy. Wouldn't even care if it showed the album art or not. I'd make it myself, but I'm not exactly a programmer.

So is there a Lyrics Widget that works with iTunes 10? I have found some that only work with older versions, or that only let you search for lyrics.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm having trouble with Sing that Itune; it's finding lyrics for fewer and fewer songs. Which one is your favorite? I want one that automatically displays lyrics and saves them in Itunes if they aren't there already, but if I already have lyrics I don't want it saving over them.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've recently begun to get an error message saying that "my display is not authorized to play" TV episodes downloaded from iTunes, and that I need to connect a display that is "HDCP-compatible."
I use a new Mac mini, bought in December, and a 24'' HP display that is also fairly new (purchased last summer). Up until now, I've had no problems playing these episodes on my mini, nor on my older computer (where they were first downloaded).
Both computers were hooked up to the same monitor via mini-DVI-DVI / DVI-HDMI cables. I've searched these forums as well as around the internet, and most of what I've found is from people using mini-displayport.
I also haven't found anyone who randomly had this problem start after having viewed content on their machines successfully. It was literally not happening one day, and then started the next.
I guess this is a bit trivial, but I want to change the display at the bottom of my iTunes screen. The part that tells you how many albums you have, the total playing time, and size. Currently, this is displayed with the European system of using commas instead of points as the decimal separators. I may be crazy, but I'm pretty sure it used to have points and then a few days ago, it switched on me. I noticed it after I installed an update. Is there a way of changing it back?
View 6 Replies View RelatedCropped up in which an update will become available and I tell iTunes to update the app, it downloads it, I go back to the app page and the icon refreshes, I then see iTunes telling me that theres still an update. I clicked on the 1 update available link thing and low and behold the application I just updated is still saying theres an update and no matter how many times I click update all apps it will still say theres an update. View 6 Replies View RelatedI have everything connected and working to display my MBP to my Sony Bravia HDTV. I am using the TV as a second display. When I choose full screen for my iTunes movie, it goes black. The iTunes movie plays in reduced screen. Does anyone have a solution how I can play full screen?
View 1 Replies View RelatedJust wondering if there is a way to have videos in iTunes play full screen on a secondary display. I know you can do it in Quicktime, VLC and eyeTV with terminal... but all my content is in iTunes..Can anyone help?I take it from this overwhelming responce that it is not possible to do??
View 11 Replies View RelatedThere's something that's been bugging me for ages, literally years:
I've got a whole lot of music, 45 days worth, and I view it by date added and want to keep it that way for a number of reasons.
Problem is, when I want to play an album I have to click on the first track, then switch to album (or artist) display by the end of that track.
The other day I added an album by dragging it into iTunes in the Finder. I noticed that I could start and stop and advance and rewind tracks and it would go in order, from first to last track, even in Date Added mode, so it was visually moving up and down instead of from top to bottom.
Is there secretly a way to view in Date Added but have the next track be the next track on that album? Besides dragging the tracks into iTunes from the Finder I mean.
If anyone has a way to do this, it would seriously improve my life and I would be infinitely grateful.
Continually reverts to email address, and refuses to display a picture.
I know there are previous threads on this, but I've even tried installing the latest beta/nightly build. My friends are getting fed up. I don't notice a difference, but they do!
My iTunes DJ will not display under 20 Upcoming Songs. I want it to be zero, but when I choose this option it sticks to 20 Upcomming Songs still. Tried the other values smaller than 20, as well. However, oddly, it will allow switching to numbers higher than this (i.e. it WILL display 50, 100, etc. Upcoming Songs).

I usually keep my music files on my PC and stuff, but since I was thinking of getting rid of it, I transferred all my music files into my MBP. So I transferred it via a USB Drive, and what do you know, iTunes show some of my Korean and Japanese songs with broken-looking weird scribbles. It happens to only certain songs, and I really am confused. As you can see in the attached picture, some displays the correct characters, but some just looks weird. Like the bottom three songs show correctly, but not some of the top ones or the highlighted one.
However, both my iPhone and my iPods in the past showed ALL Korean/Japanese charcaters without a single problem. Is there any language pack that I'll need to be installing? Or is there some kind of encoding within the iTunes? I am currently using the latest build/version of the iTunes on Mac OS X Leopard running on Unibody MacBook Pro 2.53Ghz. The MacBook Pro is also up-to-date with any of the latest updates via Software Update. I should be asking at the iPod and iTunes section I guess, so if it really seems like it's an absolute must that I post in the iTunes section, please let me know.
I was just wondering if there is an app or something that allows you to see the song title that is playing while the itunes window is not up.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI posted this on the iTunes section and did not get solutions for my problem. I hooked-up my MacBook Pro to my Sony Bravia HDTV to watch iTune movies and use my computer at the same time (non-mirrored in monitor preferences). iTunes movies play on my HDTV when they are not maximized in iTunes. When I maximize the movie, it reverts back to my MacBook screen and the HDTV screen goes blank. I reviewed all my display preferences and cannot find any options to fix this.
Another question, will HD iTunes movies display properly on a 52" HDTV screen at 1080p? It seems that some of the movies I have played so far seem grainy and jerky at minimized screen (since I can't maximize it). Basically, I want to match the quality of a HD movie DVD. Any experiences with this or am I wasting my time? Shouldn't using a MacBook Pro be like using AppleTV with regard to video quality?
I love the iTunes artwork screensaver that comes built in to OSX. Basically, the screensaver is displaying all of my podcast 'album covers', where as I really just want it to show the album covers in my music library. Is there a way to get the screensaver to ignore the podcasts? I was thinking maybe the easiest way to do it would be to move the podcasts folder in my iTunes library to another directory rather than in 'music', but would that mean iTunes would save new podcasts to the new directory or save in the original automatic spot?
