an extra themes be installed in iMovie? These would be in addition to the standard ones like filmstrip, post cards, ect. I am wanting a wedding based theme for doing my wedding video.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've had this problem for a while, but never really cared, because I didn't use the Themes. Now, I need to use them and remembered, they don't work. I've tried everything! Nothing fixes it! It goes down to the little clip viewer thing and has an empty red bar, but it doesn't start rendering! I've completely trashed iMovie and all its files and reinstalled it and it still doesn't fix it! I'm running Mac OS 10.4.11, Tiger.

Though the VirtualBox doesn't recognize the 8GB of ram when i try to create a new machine for Windows XP 32-bit or Windows 7 64-bit. I haven't tried it with other operating systems. I have also reinsalled the VirtualBox but it didn't work.

I am trying to install themes from interfacelift and it looks like I have to use shapshifter to do so. I'm having a heck of a time getting this app to install let alone work properly. So what are you folks doing to install themes on your mac. I am currently on Leopard 10.5.8.

I located all my themes, deleted them, deleted all application preferences for Bowtie, and then deleted Bowtie.
A quick reinstall of Bowtie and upon startup, all my themes are still there.
The whole purpose of this is to get rid of a theme that isn't working (Zokunft Condensed Black), and I know it doesn't matter that much, but I tend to get hung up on things like this.
Any way to just get this theme off my hard drive?
I can't delete keynote themes I installed from Jumpsoft. I can't even find a iwork file in users/library/application support. I even deleted all of iWork from my computer and reinstalled and they were still there in keynote. What should I do?

I would really like to have more variation with the books. Or if there isn't any place to download new ones from, is there a way to make your own? I know there are Keynote themes and iDVD themes, but are there iPhoto book themes? Or are they way too complex compared to iDVD and Keynote?

How I could delete themes that I downloaded from google chrome. Everytime I downloaded them, while it downloads it'll show up in my folder but once it finishes it, it automatically applies it and disappears from the folder. I checked chrome://extensions/in and it says no extensions. Does the browser not keep themes installed? When I click "reset default theme" does that mean the theme I installed automatically deletes?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI want to burn a DVD from a video I have on my hard drive. I want it to play on DVD players as well as my iMac. But what I don't want is the smarmy "Themes" iDVD insist there be on the result. IS there a way I can do this without the Themes or will I have to use a different burner? Some videos I have are .avi, DVIX, .wmv, etc. I'm sure that the starting format has nothing to do with my problem, but one never knows. I'm running OSX 10.6.2 and am really happy with it. Although, I haven't see any difference when running it in 64-bit mode. But maybe if I were using more 64-bit software?

anyway i am having trouble with iPhoto, when i try to create a book or card or calendar it claims that there are no themes, although i know that the themes are in HD/Library/Application Support/iPhoto/Themes. This is confusing, and I NEED to have those themes for a book that i am creating. This is high priority, so basically i HAVE to get these themes back in.
So I have several CME Conference Lectures (slides made in PPT). Unfortunately, I guess these presenters love color, and so all slides are in a blue background with white text or some variation thereof. Personally, I like to have a print out of the slides when I am reading/preparing for my future cases. etc. and so I physically print these slides out. Unfortunately, the unnecessary background color is an unnecessary burden on my printer, and so I was wondering how I can change the the background and text in one shot so I don't have print out the unnecessary color.
I have tried trying to change the background from within powerpoint, but because the text is often in white, this causes the text to "disappear" on a white background. The only way to get the text back is to change the text color on a slide by slide basis. This is fine if the presentations are short, but most of these presentations are 200+ slides.
I was hoping there is some trick either in powerpoint or keynote to be able to change slide themes (such that background and text can change in one shot).
I love the old iMovie HD, and would like to keep working on projects with it. If I install iLife '09 , will it erase the old version of iMovie HD?

I copied the files onto a USB and tried to open/import them onto my new Intel Core 2 Duo, 3.06 GHz iMac. However my new iMac with iMovie '09 won't recognise the files when I try to import them. View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a project file that was created using iMovie 5 HD. In this project file were a large number of unused clips and also the final film, edited with transitions, backing music, end credits, etc.
However when I import this project file into iMovie 8 I cannot find the final edited film anywhere, just all the clips that were both used and unused within the project file.
How can I get the final film back without spending about a week re-editing everything?
Im encountering space issues when erasing the HD free space! I get a popup message saying that i need to free up more space in order to get the job done. I cant remove any more data from the drive in order to make it more spacious for the free space erasing!
Is there a way i can hook up an external drive so that it will use that extra space?
So i've recently gotten in the uploading to YouTube craze with my Flip Mino HD but i'm not too happy at the way i've been doing this and am hoping there is an easier way.
As of late i've been importing what i film into iMovie. In iMovie i'll edit the video to my liking. In iMovie i'll "export" to the media browser so it'll show up in GarageBand. Then i'll open GarageBand and edit my film further, dealing with sound; adding music. After that i'll export it as a .MOV to my desktop. Then i'll open iMovie again and import that .MOV file and from there in iMovie will have it upload to YouTube in its original HD format.
My Mail.app message windows now have an annoying additional control to the right of the "Subject" field, which pops a menu that lets me select additional Address fields to show, and a Priority field. It looks like this:

and it selected �*out of order for extra annoying! �*when you hit "Tab" in the Subject field, or shift-Tab in the body area.
I know this thing didn't used to be there, because I didn't used to hate Mail.app... how can I make it go away?
Is it possible to put my MBP ALU, in Clamshell mode without attaching a mouse or a screen? The point would be that I could leave certain programs running and be able to close my laptop at the same time; so an app that could do this would be fine too. So when I'm downloading loads at podcasts at once and want to keep it running when closing the lid.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I send 1 email to 1 recipient from my gmail account on mac mail, the mail activity monitor on the bottom left indicates that I am sending 2, 3 or as many as 5 emails. It takes a long time to send when this happens. It only happens when I send from the gmail account and never from my other accounts. I have no "extra" mail in my sent folder. Is someone else sending email from my computer?
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo, I have all of my imovie projects backed up on my external harddrive, as well as the imovie program. I accidentally deleted all of the imovie projects and events from the imovie application on my laptop. When I try to re-import the imovie files into imovie, it doesn't recognize the files. I have tried to convert them with iSkySoft Video Converter. That converter program does not recognize the files either. I also tried burning the files onto a disc and then pulling them off the disc with the Handbrake program. This doesn't work either. I also tried importing the files into iMovie HD, which I have on my desktop, but to no avail. Are these files alll useless now? I'm at my wits end because I have spent literally months compiling footage for a documentary.
