ITunes :: Adding New Song To Transfer List Stop The Previous Sync?
Apr 7, 2012I have a problem with the song tranfert to my ipad 3 and my iphone. When I add new song to a current transfert list, itunes stop and delete the previous download and restart the sync. I think the problem is new because i haven't noticed it before.Â

Feb 3, 2009Every time I hit the slideshow button on iPhoto '09, I get the spinning rainbow wheel and then the app will eventually crash. This is very frustrating. Is anyone else having this problem with the new iLife version as well? Can you test for me using a large photo album that this might be happening to other users too? I refuse to believe that my MBP can't handle it.

Apr 28, 2009I have song compilation albums in itunes. I prefer to seach by Artist, not album. Compilation albums often assign a different artist for each song. I don't like this, as I end up with thousands of artists, each with only one song! Here's an example:
I copy "Classical Chillout" compilation album to itunes. 30 songs show up, each with their own (new) artist name, song name, and all within the album "Classical Chillout.
Instead of having:
SONG Adagio for Strings
ARTIST Samuel Barber
ALBUM Classical Chillout
I want to batch rename all songs so that the Album name becomes the Artist and each "Artist" name is inserted into the "Song" name
SONG Samuel Barber- Adagio for Strings
ARTIST Classical Chillout
ALBUM Classical Chillout
Applications :: Audio Keeps Fading On Iphoto / Idvd Slideshows?
Jul 2, 2009I've created a slideshow in iphoto with about four mp3 songs from my itunes list playing in the background. The songs play find when I view the slideshow in iphoto. However, when I send the slideshow to idvd and burn the DVD the each song fades off to silence way too early! It's not an idvd issue, because when I preview the DVD before burning it, the audio does the same thing.
I've tried changing the mp3 to m4a, still same fade. I've also tried making them one track in Audacity, still same fade. I don't know what to do to fix it?
This is done with iphoto 09 with the latest update on a MacBook Pro with OS X 10.5.7.

May 20, 2010There was an error during rendering/encoding of the menus/slideshows. The burning process has been canceled.
It offers no course of action so in Project Info I tried each quality, widescreen and standard, but each time I attempt to burn the dvd it will process the menus, render menu 1 of 1 and all 3 transitions and at the end of this segment I receive the same error message before it starts to process the slideshows of which there are three.

Dec 2, 2010I know you can use iTunes dj to "play song next" or whatever but I don't like iTunes DJ for the fact that you don't have 100% control over what songs are playing if you want to pinpoint certain songs, etc..
Is there any way that I can line up a song to play after the current song without interrupting the current song and immediately playing the song I want next?

Dec 15, 2009So I love the iPhoto "ken burns" slideshows, and I had created a cute one set to the "Linus and Lucy" theme song. However, when I exported it to a .mp4 and uploaded it to YouTube to share on my site, I got the "copyright" warning and the audio is disabled. So anyone know what the copyright limits are as far as slideshows are concerned? What's the point of allowing us to use it if we can't share it? I also noticed that the quality is degraded due to compression... would it be better just to make my own slideshow in iMovie and share that instead (quality-wise)? Or is there a better way to share the slideshow?

Nov 17, 2010My dad has a new 27" Core i5 iMac. When he plays a very long slideshow, iPhoto consistently crashes around the 8-minute mark. Sometimes he gets an error message saying "iPhoto unexpectedly quit" and sometimes the slides just quit coming up, even though the music keeps playing.
It doesn't matter from which event the slides come, although it seems to happen on his pics only and not on the pre-installed pics from Apple.
One last data point, this never happens, even when viewing the same slideshow, on his 13" MacBook Pro, which he bought at the same time.
It seems to me like a memory leak, or, less likely, some kind of GPU overheating issue. He's tried rebuilding his photo library, which changed nothing.

Jan 7, 2010I want to create a full screen slideshow of my pictures (from the finder). Coverflow won't do full screen, and Quick Look doesn't work well. If I go full screen I can't skip to the next picture. I can highlight multiple pictures then open Quick Look to be able to scroll to scroll through them, but it's long and tedious. Say I want to just make a slideshow from a folder of pictures without having to highlight everything and open Quick Look, is there a quick way to do this?
I thought of using Front Row (I had never tried it before), but it's telling me Pictures (0) when I have lots of folders and pictures in my home folder. Does Front Row only use pictures imported in iPhoto (which I don't use?) In Front Row, when I click on "Sources", it brings me to "Alex's MacBook" (the name of my computer) but I can't go anywhere from there or even change it, if I click it goes back to the menu.

Dec 11, 2008I have a decent size music library(40+gig) on my late MB and i find that iTunes is slow to load when I open it and sometimes when im clicking around songs there is a half second pause before the song is highlighted and then starts to play. Since the program is pulling the info off the HD im thinking that if i got a higher capacity 7200 rpm drive that this would help (currently my stock 150gig only has 50gigs left) with this stutter or would upgrading to 4gig ram?

It played all songs fine before but since to upgrade the songs are jumping like they would if they were a scratched CD. The songs play fine coming from my ipod and my iphone. It's driving me crazy and I cant use my itunes anymore because of it.

How it happend: I've been having this gltich, where it says it cannot buy a song, because the connection was lost. So clicked "buy song" on the song, and it said "connection was lost, please try again later" so, I tried clicking buy again, and it said "you already purchased this item", and it started downloading the song, and never charged me!

Apr 5, 2010I have one song that will not sync to my iphone. It is a 43min long Nike running track which itunes gave away for free last year. I would love to listen to it as I run but I can't find it on my iphone. It is checked in itunes and I have it set to sync my entire music library so it should be on there. Any ideas?
If it matters I have changed my email address that I use for my itunes account since then but to my knowledge all of the older music I bought with that account still syncs perfectly fine.
Also it shows up that it is on my iphone when I look at it in itunes but not on the iphone when it is not connected. I watched it sync saying updating that track on the phone too.

Aug 14, 2010Running on a Late 2008 MBP 15" with 2.53 GHZ C2D, 320 GB HD, and 9400+9600m GT. I've been having a recent issue where when I've been playing a song, and I click in the middle to get to a part that I like, iTunes skips to the next song. If I look at it closely, what happens is the cursor-thing that shows where you are in the song jumps to the point that I clicked on for about 1/4 of a second before jumping to the end and playing the next song. Yet when I let it play through all the way, the problem does not exist. It only happens when I'm around the beginning of the song and I click around to somewhere around the middle/after that.
